Instead of the hands of one (Satoshi) or solely a dev team. The coins were mined by regular people like us including the dev team all at once. They did as they promised with no premine. It was an open landrun free for all mine. Bro get what I'm saying. YOU could have even mined part of them. Whats most important is what people decide to do with them. Its not absolutely doomed to fail and dump. If there is a concensus to hold and let the project flourish (there is) then the mined coins won't enter the market right away and kill the coin.

Why is there (again) a so high Blockrate with 10 Minutes (instead 180 - 360 sec.) ?
And why is again used a difficulty retarget of 2 weeks, which can be easy manipulated with high hashrates peaks ?
SHA256 is the next thing... It consumes enormous energy resources and feed again only the chinese mining farms.
Take a look for lyra2z and neoscrypt algo. This algos are far more energy and resource friendly.
The high blocktime has only the need for higher memory requirements to buffer all the incomming transactions, which
is not very v-server friendly.


My suggestions for real improvements are:

- Difficulty retarget at every block (following the hashrate in near realtime)
- Algo: lyra2z or neoscrypt, instead SHA256 - No ASIC-Support please - to make it real decentralized
- Alternative: Multi-Algo capability (like DGB)
- Blocktime 180-360 seconds, instead 10 Minutes
- An Option to use "Zero fee" for small amounts of coins
- Instant-Sent/Private Send Option

I would look into polymath. imo they're creating the blockchain stock market which is going to revolutionize securities. You can go on their platform and launch your own legal security token and get access to a network of verified investors.

So what realistically can the DAT coin be worth?

Currently there are 12 cryptos that have a market cap of $5 Billion,according to coinmarketcap.com.
The entire market cap of the combined crypto market has grown 300% in just 3 months.Imagine how much money will be in the crypto space by the end of 2018.Not the $600billion as of today but trillions.

I believe within one year there will be 100+ cryptos with a £5+Billion net worth.So why can't Datum be one of those?

If we take a scenario where the DAT coin have a $5B market cap,with approximately 2 billion coins in existence,that would place DAT at approximately $2.50 per coin,65x from todays prices.That would turn my measly $700 into $45,000.Where else can you get that kind of return without even doing anything?

So we don't want a pump and dump with this coin.We want a nice steady progression,and we will get this providing everything goes according to plan and the team doing what they say they will do.
