Re: How to make money on risky ICOs?
by

on 24/06/2018, 15:42:04 UTC
I think there's no such thing as safe investment especially in terms of ICO, so consider all of the ICO projects risky. The thing with ICO is you'll either make or break and that depends on your researching skills to know if the project would be successful or not at the end. Anyway, there's a new upcoming ICO marketplace platform www.menlo.one you might want to have a look about their project because they do have a nice concept.

I'd rather go for menlo.one have you checked them? They plan to incentivize professionals and expert on this kind of technology creating a community where only true and valuable contributions are merited with tokens. In short, if you have a great knowledge about blockchain, smart-contract, coin development, etc. you'll be rewarded.

Re: KYC - Connection of Identity and Wallet?
by

Give us more information. KYC for what specifically? Owning a BTC or ETH wallet doesn't need KYC. If it's about ICOs, then I'm really not 100% sure but why not have separate wallets to prevent potential issues instead? It's not like you'd have to spend hours on making/registering a wallet. It takes only a few seconds via MyEtherWallet.

I guess he is pertaining to Exchanges and ICO's. They ask they because the government told them to do so. If you're not doing anything wrong there's nothing to worry about that.

Basing from the last comments of some banks CEO it would take long for them to accept blockchain technology or anything related to cryptocurrency. I'd still feel positive, change is inevitable and for sure sooner or later they will accept it.

Re: This can be addictive!!

I'm a newbie and have been into crypto for a couple of months now.  I must say the advice from other members about not checking trades too often is very good.  One can become obsessed with it, and I think the thrill of the "win" can be quite addictive.  Similarly that depressed feeling when the world is "red" can be deflating as well.  There must be a "happy" medium, if one is to maintain a balanced life.

Focusing too much won't get you anything. You cannot get all the riches of the world in doing so. Having a break is also needed to enjoy what you have been working for.

Re: how much percentage of ones savings should invest in coins?
by

on 24/01/2018, 15:48:10 UTC
i have some savings and want to invest in bitcoin. should i just input some pocket money or 10% or 50% of it or all in? i wont use the savings for a long long term. besides, if i lose all these money it wont effect my present life. advice please.

It depends on you as others have said: "only invest on what you can afford to lose". In your case, you said if you lose your money it won't affect your present state so I suggest to go "ALL IN" and let it grow.

Dear All,

Thank you for your help.

After some hits from you and this forum and videos from Youtube I decided to bought first cryptocurrency. I already have 5$ profit (not more but this is the beginning).

PS: There are a lot of currencies and it is very hard to decided witch is the best. Hope my currency to increase good in next days Smiley).

Keep you in touch.

It depends on the coin you have invested. If you are just starting out it is better to choose coins that are on top in the market as they have more potentials than any other coins.

If I see a potential for their project. It means if the CRYPTO is being backed by a reputable team, they have a large community behind them, and they offer a good product or innovation.

Every time that we see bitcoin plunged so deep the price always bounce back or even get bigger so I guess. Bitcoin will never die, no matter how deep the price would go it will always go up again.

Re: Most successful [ICO's] you've ever seen?

In my opinion, the most successful ICO's are on the top list of coinmarketcap.com. ETH, NEO, Monero they all deserve well. Ethereum has a great innovation which is now widely used by newcomers trying to put-up their own ICO.

I think China doesn't like the idea of bitcoin. Rather China hates bitcoin because it is not from them. China and North Korea have same ideology, they only use what they made and doesn't want any foreign to them.

I know a little about cloud mining.
I think so far cloud mining is still very profitable although it is not recommended for beginners.
because there are many costs that need to be issued.
but if it can be well set.
this can produce quite large
You indeed know very little about cloud mining and that raises the question if you're the original owner of above account? As is, cloud mining ceased to be attractive to anyone as soon as they become experienced enough to see through their resemblance with any ponzi scheme out there. At best, those early payments are carrots before donkeys and unknown to many, it is sending back to you, tips of the much you already invested and only few are lucky enough to even recoup their investment before the party is over, because there usually are no mining hardware anywhere.

Haha, you have noticed something. Well, you have a great point. Cloud mining are just ponzi scheme, a waste of time and money. You don't have control on your investment and you aren't sure about the longevity of site you have joined.

It's because of the korean fud, when all of this is over we are going to see a new ATH for bitcoin and altcoin, maybe this time we will reach a trillion dollar market cap

Yeah, I do believe that if the FUD about the Korean banning the use of bitcoin is over. Then, probably we will see another ATH of the coins, BTC, ETH, BCH, all of them.

The move of this big companies I think is because of the arising problems in bitcoin. As we can see and feel, fees are very high and tx confirmation is very slow.

It is normal. A correction will be ongoing to the altcoins. Bitcoin have already made the correction and have gone silent. Don't start another panic to the players or the price of the coins will suffer.
