Been long time since I peeked here. All I can say is insane from graphics cards to those things with pics above. I wouldn't even know where to start with bitcoin mining any more. Ima try to get back into litecoin mining soon though as long as its easy hook up graphics cards..
Graphics cards will be history with Litecoin mining as well.
Yeah thats why i mine bitcoin with mine its really profitable at the moment
Not much to look at, but pulls a steady 450Ghs overclocked. Within the sea of fans is a bitfury m-board with 12 h-cards plugged in. Disclamer: the images contain a shameless attempt of marketing somewhat unrelated goods.
Behind the rig is an open window, the ups cardboard is in place to prevent direct rainfall on the rig should winds blow in the exactly right direction at massive force.
Looks really dangerous to me, can the UPS cardboard really prevent rain?
I am all new to the bitcoin world and i would like to start mining. I know this isnt the gold rush anymore and that the good days are over but i am still interested in mining even if i dont make money out of it. To start off I would like to mine 0.1btc per week. I think this should be doable. But this is where i need help, I am not sure how much power i am gonna need to do it. I mean how many gh/s. I would then buy something appropriate.
I know computers cant really mine anymore but im gonna leave my specs anyway just in case.
Would it still be profitable if bitcoin goes down to $1 a bitcoin?
Definitely no. As there would be no point in mining. You would pay more for electricity to keep your computers working. There's no profit in such approach. Then, what would be the difference between USD and BTC?
Everyone would do that and you can turn back on after difficulty adjusted ..

Many people pre-order ASICs when bitcoin hit $1000, they used $1000 to calculate their profit. Few months down the road and delay from manufacturer = bye bye ROI...
hello i am thinking about starting mining not to be rich but just to make some extra coin i have been looking around on different hardware and i like those asic usd my budget is only big enough to bye 46 asic bitcoin mining usb and what ever i need to make it work
so my question is how much would i be able to make on that setup it need not be precis just an estimate
and would it be more profitable if went after litecoin instead
Please don't buy any USB, they are worthless..
