So is anyone using version 10.0? Any perf improvements on NVIDIA?
I am still using 7.5 and working just fine, so wondering if I should consider the upgrade?

Hi all, hoping you can help me here.
I entered the NVO ICO buy investing XRP. I am not sure how I can get access to the NVO coins now, I only found a tutorial explaining as if you had invested BTC. Anyone could please shed some light? Thanks

Thanks!

my MSI is micron memory... so if you can find out which memory each card has... then go with the one with samsung.

Hi guys, there is a way to reboot windows when ethminer get cuda error and it remain blocked? I mean there is a way tk reboot windows when the pc stop mining? Thanks
Not sure if there's a need to reboot windows, but only the miner.... when Claymore crashes, for example, the miner restarts by itself and all good.

I am seeing this miner to crash and it unfortunately does not restart... if I could ask Genoil to add a feature to this miner, that would be it.
Thanks

I was lucky to get Samsung memory in all 6 cards although my 6th card is a pain and gives errors if OC more than 450 mem clock speed. All other cards are at 850 mem clock, 90 power.

If my rig crashes while im sleeping thats potentially 7 hours mining lost so would be a negative trade vs claymore and its shutdown/restart option.
yes, agree with that. 7 hours of lost mining time is terrible. Hope the developer add a restar feature soon.

I've been asking around for a crash/hang detect and auto restart solution but there doesnt appear to eb anything.

I was using Claymore and getting 136MH off 6 x Gigabyte 1060s and with EthMiner Im getting 151 MH!

So definately worth sticking with Ethminer so long as it doesnt crash.  In 3 days i've had 1 crash that was alerted to me by ethermine.org emailing me to say my miner was offline and it was errors in the CMD window with machine not hanging so I just remoted in and restarted but I still lost an hours mining Sad
One crash in three days, thats acceptable to my standards... but mine crashes in 20-30 minutes.... not good Sad

my 1060's memory are micron, what are yours?
I haven't tried running stock, just to check. But if running stock gets me the same hashrate as claymore.. ill just use claymore with dual mining.

I'm getting this error too, did you ever find a fix?

edit: and I'm on win10 using the latest 1060 optimized code.

yep, confirmed. same happens with my MSI 1060 6gb (micron memory) at 600mhz memory 0mhz core.
It runs for maybe 20 minutes and then crashes. Doesn't even restart, which is a shame.

I will be using Claymore till when I find a fix as the optimized 1060 ethminer is definitely faster.

I havent got anything else apart from the standard stuff thats on claymores thread.

TDP- 60%
Temp Limit-75c
Core Clock- +150
Memory Clock- +775
Fans- Auto (range from 25-35% speed)
Temps- 55c & 63c

Getting 23.05Mh ETH only.
hashrates are great man, are you expecting more?
what's your 1060 model?

Guys, I use the Power Limit to reduce it, but I see no changes on my power meter, connected to the power socket.
Shouldn't it reduce it?

EDIT:
If I run this command in command-promt:

nvidia-smi -i 0 -pl 110

then i see changes to the power meter... but the command only allows me to change it to a maximum of 110 watts.

For those mining ethereum with claymore, do you guys mind posting your script?
My script is bare bones, just my address and pool address - nothing else.
My hashrates go up and down, they are not stable (a straight line) on the dashboard. I am wondering if I can get the performance to be more linear.

I have MSI GTX 1060 6gb overclocked at 600ghz mem and 0 CPU  (100 TPD)

ethminer.exe -U -S eu2.ethermine.org:4444 -SP 1 -O 0xa30ec91808321f158022956f742e62157f4ad0dd.glavni

you can try also --cl-local-work 128 --cl-global-work 8192

thanks for posting this. I am seeing a lot of crashes with claymore 9.6 on my system and giving ethminer a go. I can already see that the hashrates are a bit bigger (about 2-3mhs). That's pretty cool.
Hopefully it will be stable and I will be able to overclock more. I am only at 600 memory on a gtx 1060 6gb

Re: Error in Claymore 9.6 (NVIDIA) Can you please help?
by

So, I changed to power 100, CPU 0 and Memory 600 and it's more stable. In the last 3 hours I had two crashes (shown by the big drops on the black line) and, as you can see in the beginning of the image, then memory was at 650, I had a lot of drops on the black line, so the system was not stable at all.

Still, I would not want to see those drops at all. I look at the top miners on nanopool and these guys have a totally stable system.

Do you guys have any tip to give me to get Claymore to be more stable? Obviously I would want to overlock my 1060 more and get more hashes... I've seen dudes on youtube going to 900 memory, so really wanted to go close to that if I could!

Thanks!

Error in Claymore 9.6 (NVIDIA) Can you please help?

Hey guys,

Finally assembled my first rig ever. Super fun!

Now, when running Claymore 9.6 (should I be using 12?) with my 6 GTX1060, it mines alright, 22mhs per card (Dual).
But every now and then I get this:

GPU0 t=59C fan=32%, GPU1 t=58C fan=31%
GPU 1, GpuMiner cu_k02 failed 4, unspecified launch failure
GPU 1, GpuMiner kx failed 1
GPU 1, GpuMiner cu_k02 failed 4, unspecified launch failure
GPU 1 failed
GPU 1, GpuMiner kx failed 1
GPU 1 failed
GPU 0, GpuMiner cu_k02 failed 4, unspecified launch failure
GPU 0, GpuMiner kx failed 1
GPU 0, GpuMiner cu_k02 failed 4, unspecified launch failure
GPU 0 failed
GPU 0, GpuMiner kx failed 1
GPU 0 failed
 LBC: 06/28/17-17:19:00 - New job from lbry.suprnova.cc:6256
GPU0 t=49C fan=0%, GPU1 t=50C fan=0%
WATCHDOG: GPU error, you need to restart miner Sad
Restarting OK, exit...

Cards currently clocked at 75 power limit, 120 CPU and 650 memory.

Do you guys know what this error mean?

Thanks
