Re: Do you consider OKpay to be trustworthy? Why or why not?

i know okpay has a lot of seo personnel doing the good deeds they need to cloud their real quality - that quality is the most bad customer service in this planet and oh they keep your money for x number of days probably trading bitcoin with them

Cryptsy.com charts
by
feebs
on 14/02/2014, 09:46:38 UTC
you may notice the charts in cryptsy have random really high and really low bars and it hides the real prices of the crypto coins - you basically just see a horizontal line with the occasional 1000% high and 1000% low on some random days - i think these are not real, i say this because i had a really low bid on their doge/btc pair and the low went lower than my bid and i did not get filled, makes me wonder why cryptsy is not fixing these errors, they already have a lousy chart tool and this major highs/lows are hiding the real price action in the charts......and misleading the public about the potential ROI of alt coin trading

i like to update everyone who read my posts

i finally was able to get my funds from okpay after more than 70 days, with deductions of more than $100, i quickly transferred it to btc-e, i will never use okpay again, and that should be true for everyone else, stay away from okpay

this good news for me came when i threatened them that i will post daily here in bitcointalk and elsewhere that okpay was holding my funds without any reason and they are a scammer company - which i actually did, i still think okpay is a selective scammer, okpay will not return the funds of folks who are not noisy in the forums

there is no decent company who will hold your funds for this long without telling you why, okpay is a very bad company, very bad customer service, a selective scammer, do not use okpay

if you have funds trap in okpay, do what i did, threaten them you will post negative true feedback here and reddit on a daily basis until you get your funds

Glad to see OP gets his money back, at least most of his money.

Did OKpay ever explain why the funds were on hold for 70days+ and why $100+ was deducted?

no explaination, just got an automatic email informing me i now have my funds in my okpay wallet AND AS SOON AS I CAN, I TRANSFERRED IT ALL TO BTC-E, I WILL NEVER USE OKPAY AGAIN, NEVER AGAIN, EVEN OKPAY'S COMPETITORS, I WILL NEVER USE A MONEY TRANSFER SERVICE COMPANY UNLESS ITS A PUBLIC COMPANY REGISTERED IN THE U.S.

i did not anymore bother to ask what happened to the over $100 deduction they made... it doesnt matter now, got the majority of my funds

folks,

i waited over 70 days to get my money from okpay, and take note they do not answer their support tickets, if they did answer their support tickets, the answer is vague and useless, so i had to be noisy in this forum and spread the word to people not to use okpay simply because they are a selective scammer

if you don't complain in the forums like this, i think okpay will ignore you and they will never give you your money

i suggest you send them a support ticket telling them that you will complain about them everyday in the bitcoin forums until you get your money - that seemed to worked

i use okpay in 2013 and lost $2000

i sent wire transfer more than 55 days ago, since i told them i wired funds, they fell silent

scammer company

i am not the only victim, other folks have sent messages of their ordeal, replied to my posts, and others are in reddit, search reddit for okpay

okpay is a scammer company who employs seo personnel to give them good feedback here and elsewhere in the web

i made it my mission to inform others of my mistake, so others do not lose their money

do not wire funds to okpay, do not use okpay to fund your btc-e or mtgox accounts

i sent a wire transfer to okpay more than 55 days ago and i still do not have my money, my wire transfer was successful according to my bank and okpay is 99% silent as to why i dont have my funds, they try to give hope by telling me "our finance department is checking some issue" this is the 1% - i got scammed

i am warning all those newbies planning to fund their btc-e or mtgox account via okpay to not do it

okpay is a scammer company

i loss $2k from this scammer

their phone number is an answering machine

their address is a p.o. box in the british virgin island

they have an army of seo employees/contractors writing for them good reputation here and elsewhere

you have been warned

note: okpay is very quick to reply to your inquiries when you have not yet sent your money

more than 50 days now, i got 4 replies from okpay, all replies are the same "our finance department is checking some issue" - such issue is not being informed to me, out of their 4 replies i made probably 100 messages... so its really a no brainer if you want to use okpay or not

again my loss in okpay is 2k usd... do not use okpay

it is with great surprise that you will see okpay as an option to deposit in mtgox and btc-e, it tarnishes the reputation of those 2 major bitcoin exchange

well i just had to make a new thread for the newbies since this section is after all for the newbies, this is a service for the newbies, for them not to be scammed

my warning is not intended for old timer crypto coin folks

its for those newbies who wish to do arbitrage using okpay - it's not going to happen - because okpay will pocket your wire transferred money and ignore all your complains

Scam Alert: Do not use OKPAY (part 5)
by

on 28/12/2013, 12:35:10 UTC
newbies alert... AVOID OKPAY to fund your btc-e or mtgox

i just checked how many days now since i wired my $2000 to okpay and it is now 50 days and i still do not have my funds in my account in okpay, all they tell me "our finance department is checking..." not telling me any concrete info about why the f#*(&(*& is it taking so long

in being not an idiot, i consider myself scammed of my money, not hoping anymore to recover

so i am spreading the word.. do not use okpay

some folks will say good things about them, it's either true or they were hired to do so, but would you risk your money to a company who has a london phone number which turns out to be an answering machine and a business address as a p.o. box in the british virgin island

i know i should have checked this prior to sending my money, but i didnt, so you shouldnt as well

AVOID this SCAMMER COMPANY OKPAY

its a fact okpay employs many good reputation messengers, i won't be surprise if people give good feedback to okpay, it could be true since they selectively scam others and don't scam others, and they employ people to fix their reputation online, i know, i have seen the dumb good  comments here and elsewhere

fact is, my money is in limbo, and i am not alone, others in this forum have told me they have the same problem - okpay fell silent the moment they said they made the wire transfer... it is a scammer company who do not reply to its customers where such customer sent money, with wire documents etc... a normal company will not ignore its customers who sent money to their account

okpay is a scammer company who will ignore you once you tell them you wired your funds .... AVOID OKPAY
