You have to believe the real problem scammers will be able to obtain a single merit.  I feel like there may be a shelf life on this fix.  As they flip accounts 1 by 1 from Newbie to Jr. Member the shit posts will continue. 

I do believe the low intelligence spammer was just completely wrecked due to this new rule.  You can see it in the forum posts.  I think the rule was good.  Very abrupt for the unaware (I suck and never even knew about the META section until the new rule set off a massive posting glut and everyone was talking about it.)

I have a serious desire to see a 3 merit for Jr. Member limit set  (even though it will set me back).  A Jr. Member account will be much more valuable than previously so it seems like a good trade for the real posters and a disaster for the spammers. 

Glad to have found the META section as this is a fascinating situation being discussed. 

I'm a recovering semi shit poster that didn't even realize what was the score was concerning how or what to post.  I was just firing away opinions and answers.  Never been on a forum with money making tied in so I never imagined all the rules for posting.  I tried to be relevant but I'm now upping my contributions and elaborating on my ideas.

Your looking for the Department of Homeland security to save you from hackers?  These people do not have your best interests at hand.  Please do not look for the government to protect you.  That is your responsibility.  Every time you ask the government for some protection or security they take freedom to accomplish this.  This is the entire reason we are in this shitty mess in the first place.  

Most of the hacking we see and hear about on this forum are people being gullible or lax with their security.  It's not a legit hack.  It's people being unintelligent. 

Cashless is governments wet dream.  That cash keeps our ass private to a certain extent.  That's why it's so hard to withdraw large sums out of banks.  Once everything is on a public ledger then they can see every transaction being made possibly world wide if we go to a single crypto under threat of force.  

Brother don't give up.  This rule wiped you out yes but it also wiped out your competition (it wiped me out as well so there is a bit of proof of your competition being hit) .  If you clean up your game you can end up coming out ahead.  Life constantly throws these challenges.  Think of the times you gave up and then looked back and though damn if I only continued.  If you want to succeed you will.  Especially in getting merit.  Attempt to make quality posts for 1 month and see what happens.  Make a real commitment to it.  If nothing happens after the 30 days then quit.  But concentrate on contributing to the forum and not hustling bounties.

We had that historic rise so once a vertical spike happens it will take the chart some time on the other side to even itself out and get back to healthy.  We are simply seeing that play out on the peaks and valleys.  Its just a snap back to reality.  In 12 more months things should be much more stable. 

There are many industries where I cannot fathom how the blockchain and having a coin makes and sense at all and energy is one of them (unless utility companies start getting on board).  I stay away from Energy projects a swell as tourism projects. 

The market and Ethereum will fly back once the tide turns.  The only way you don't make massive loot off of Ethereum is if crypto is dead and never coming back.  If you believe crypto is dead you need to get out now.  If not chill or get in further because everything is on sale.

You most likely don't want to hear this but your going ot lose that $200 if you attempt this.  Its a miracle play.  It's p[possible to pull off but chances of you pulling this off is near impossible.  Not even te best traders in the world could pull that off.  An amature without the knowledge or equipment is going to be slaughtered attempting this. 

You need to have the ability to short this market.  The issue now is prices are so low shorting has become very dangerous.  Coins will pump 30% on the slightest uptick in Bitcoin.  I really feel it's better to simply hold and stockpile quality right now.  The time for selling and shorting has passed. 

I'm finding most of the bounties do not pay anything of value.  The percent of bad bounties is growing versus the bounties that pay out.  It's growing very quickly.  I do not think it's economically feasible to do bounties anymore.  it's more of a hobby and something that is done to learn. 

It all depends on the coin, its fundamentals and its market cap.  The coin may still be undervalued if the market is down.  Even if it does rise 30% or more.  I don't think there is a hard and fast percentage that can be used for every case.
