I actually feel like they are going to hit a rock-solid  bottom and many crytos would not be able to survive the storm. Look at the coins, man of which are absolutely worthless as they have no use whatsoever. It's a pity that these shakings will also affect the good coins also.

Re: Too many new Exchanges
by

I've come across a few new changes that have sadly been sub par. The problem with these kinds of exchanges is that they've not established credibility and a number of them make away with customers' funds which are often unreported. I wanted to exchange my tokens on a website but didn't read the reviews because I thought it as trustworthy. After placing a withdrawal request, it took ages for me to get my coins.
These new exchanges lack some advanced features which are required of a good one.

Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing
by

I think its because mot of these companies behind the ICOs are hiding the exact figures of the total coin supply or something like that. I was once involved in an ICO that had a 90-day lockup period both for the investors and the bounty hunters. At the end of the period, the price was reduced to bit 95% of the initial value. And all the team keeps saying is that the market conditions are the reason. How on earth would the market conditions affect the price so much when the tokens have not even been distributed???

The market conditions are really depressing, but I'd rather hold my coins than sell them for measly money. This is not the first time such occurrences will happen. When we realize that crypto is gaining traction by the day, it gives one hope that brighter days are ahead.

Bounty participation is the choice of individuals to make. While this is a good opinion, I doubt people will follow this. In fact, they're very glad that there are few participants that will share with them the reward pool.

Re: The battle between ETH and XRP

XRP has been in the news recently for some great news. But as it has always been, that good news has little effect on the price. ETH on the other hand has consistently competed with Bitcoin and is pushing for a major update soon. This I believe will far eclipse XRP.

I use MEW for most part of my transactions and thus far I've not had any issues with it. But as with all wallets, one has to be very careful when using it. Other ones I've used are MetaMask, Trust, Eidoo.

The market is very hard at the moment, but there are still some projects making progress. As I've always done, I follow projects that see that have mvps. I make sure the team is very established and have one or two successful projects. That way,  I know their credibility is on the line.

Re: Why People Choose Cryptocurrency?
by

People hold cryptocurrencies here because they believe it will safeguard their assets. Falling value of national currencies are leaving many people struggling economically. Though crypto is very volatile, there is a general belief that it will increase when they need it.

Most bounty projects change their policies halfway through the project. An example is KYC registration which many people are not comfortable with. How do you intend to deal with this?

Great job you're doing here. Great platform and easy to use.  I've gone through your site and I don't know if you've done your ico or not. Do you have any partnerships?

Re: Jobless No More

Bounty hunters make good money precisely because few people do it. I think if all the unemployed became bounty hunters, the bounty fee would be very low.

It is already low right now. It is almost not worth it anymore, there is maybe a few bounties worth it. I dont remember when was the last time i got something meaningful out of a bounty campaign.

Even those that pay delay the payments for a very long time such that the price is almost zero before they distribute the rewards. Things like this makes me think hard about the future of bounty campaigns.

Thanks for the encouragement. This has always been what has been spurring me on do I won't give up. However with the numerous projects coming on and the reduction in the market cap of cryptocurrencies, I'm yet to see how profitable it will be for bounty hunters in the future. The marketcap will be shared amongst the many cryptocurrencies, thereby reducing the value.

I think it is time to buy BTC and alts step by step.
We may not see this price again.
This is what has been said again and again, and when the market starts to recover, it declines even more. I seriously don't understand why everything is moving the way it is right now. This time is certainly the period when I have to make a critically evaluate the worth and value of my portfolio. Some of the tokens are not worth holding anymore.

Re: How will bounties do without Bounty Hunters?
by
fempat
on 13/11/2018, 20:37:23 UTC
I've seen a couple of projects that did not have bounty programs. Most of them are already established and working and have enjoyed market awareness. But the vast number of projects are not known.

Of course, bounty hunters are creating a lot of spams, but without them project won`t collect any funds.
Even when they create spam, their efforts create the hype that make investors check the project out.

I always go to reliable sources like Cointelegraph and the likes. I don't accept any news until I verify it here and on several other sources. One needs to be careful these days as it looks like there are many FUD spreaders.

According to the newest research EOS is the most promising cryptocurrency for today. Do you agree with it, or you think it is a mistake?

What's the source of your news? By the way,  I don't care too much about EOS. I don't see anything special about it.
We'll have to wait and see what happens in the nearest future.

I participated in a bounty that refused to pay hunters for 4 months. Whenever the team is asked,  they keep saying, "Very soon. " It's disturbing that things are getting way out of proportion and it's time something is done about it. Do you have anything in mind,  OP?

Many people open many wallets for different purposes. For example, I have about three address for multiple reasons. While it may indicate an increase in the number of people coming in,  it's difficult to say now until it reflects in the price increase.
