Re: Atiflash with more than 10 GPU ?

For risk against bricking your GPUs, it is much better to flash your GPU cards one at a time.

I know it is a long and slow process but you only have to do it once each and then you're done to mine indefinitely.

Try and not cut corners when you're setting up your mining rig.
This is complete bullshit. You are talking about risks but then suggesting to switch off ALL the safety checks before flashing? I was flashing cards remotely for years and did not a single card was screwed up.

For the inital question. Just use new version, it is called AMDVBFLASH version 4.69. It flashes 10, 11, 12, etc. cards no problem.

Hey doktor83, SRBminer 1.6.4 doesn't find any shares on CN7. I tried different drivers - 18.7.1, 18.4.1 - all the same. Can you please help to solve this problem?

I have to check it. Have you tried 18.3.4? My rigs with BC and 18.3.4 drivers work ok on v7

Is 1.6.2 finding v7 shares on 18.7.1 ?

No, 1.6.2 doesn't find shares too.
My rig is 2 Vega56, 4GB ram, 60GB virtual memory, AMD Driver 18.7.1

If you give me a link to download it (SRBMiner 1.6.2) , I can try Smiley

Re: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v11.2
by

Hey Claymore, on your ETH dual miner there is an argument: -ejobtimeout 1. Why we don't have it on CryptoNote miner? It is necessary when using unstable connection, for example 3G/LTE modems. 2-3 times a day there is a situation when modem reconnects to the cellular network (it may be that ip address is switching) and pool connection become broken, but miner still thinks it is ok and sends shares to the pool but the pool is not responding with accept or reject. The better solution would be to reset a connection if there is no response from the pool.

i mine with usb cellar modem (3G EVDO with verizon)) and dont get this with any of my miners. and i dont have that flag set on cdm, and no special flags on my other miners, had this 3g/evdo setup for years. running dstm, ccminer, ewbf, cdm, no issues, even back when gpu btc mining with cgminer. it might time out for a minute maybe but all miners always come back and shares are accepted normally..

maybe its a setting your router or usb modem? i had to use a special router for my usb 3g modem. or maybe its the pool doesnt like it? using mhp at the moment, and nicehash before they took a digger.

How many rigs do you serve with 3G modem? I have 15 rigs connected through modem and I have no idea how to solve this problem. The pool is nicehash. If I use cable internet connection, I have no problems. But I can't use cable on current location.

Very interesting, did anyone try it? The main question is - does it allow downvolt cards?

you need to download bios data from your gpu, edit with bios editor like srbpolaris (work only on window) then flahs it back on target gpu.
Be carefull wrong data can compromise your gpu or also impossible to boot it.
If you don't know what to do you need to use window and use amd software to edit freq and voltage to find better then edit your bios with this values.

But what should I edit exactly to reduce power consumption? I am familiar with Polaris bios editing and flashing, but I have never succeeded reducing power consumption.

All voltages were reduced via custom bios mods.

How did you do it?

Yeah but you cant put em together as one when you solomine. Diff is abit higher now as Nullu said so can take a while before you find anything.
I didn't know that. Now I'm on the pool. I need to set up p2pool to mine solo with 2 rigs?

I'm mining solo with 5 mh rig for more than 1 hour and still 0 blocks found. Is that ok?

Also, does "rpcport" in wallet conf make sense? I use prcport = 12555, is it a big problem?

You should have something by then. Is your miner detecting new blocks on the network?

Yes, it's detecting new blocks on the network...
