I don't think there will be a time that it is too late to buy bitcoin except if there is a currency that you trust a lot that will replace the bitcoin, then you should invest on that.

On your second sentence I think you mean underemployed not unemployed as it have different meaning someone working but with a job that doesn't suit their skill set is underemployed. I also think bitcoin is not a solution for a high unemployment rate in a country as not all people have enough knowledge to earn enough with bitcoin to sustain themselves and mostly if you want to earn a big amount of money with bitcoin you need to invest and unemployed people do not want to take that risk so they better of just finding a good job and working hard.

I don't think that bitcoin will be open to big shopping sites as it is very unstable and unpredictable its value might jump a very big amount in just a week and I think that keeps them from opening to it.

It is because economically advance country will always be further beyond countries that are economically disadvantage as they have more knowledge, money, advance infrastructure and also they are very open to changes and new things like how bitcoin started.

I don't think bank will ever accept bitcoin some time soon as bitcoin transaction are anonymous and bank doesn't really like to get in to trouble with this money that they don't know where it comes from.

With the increase of value of bitcoin I think many people will invest on it further increasing its value but I think there will be some time soon that bitcoin will be much more stable than it is now.

I agree that there will be some point that some currency will pass bitcoin but I think it will take more time than you expected. I also like the thinking of not opting to only one kind of this currency.

I don't think of this happening in the future though we might see some more shops that will be open to transactions using bitcoins but I do not think it will be so big that it will change the currency of a country.

Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin?
by
fenugeki
on 01/11/2017, 07:29:28 UTC
I think this is because people think that bitcoin price will always goes up as there is only a limited amount of it out for use so they are basically gambling for a higher exchange rate in near future and hoping people will not suddenly exchange all the bitcoin they are holding that will then lower the value of bitcoin.

I don't think that bitcoin will hit that much of a value in 2020 though its value is progressing that jump is a little to high I think. It is just I don't see it hitting that much value in this following years as bitcoin value will always fluctuate.
