Smart contracts are convenient, but they are good for experienced people. DeFi tokens have been gaining momentum for a long time, their prices grow steadily, I recommend you to have a look at the history of UNI, LEND, COMP.

Regardless of the fact that DeFi tokens don’t enjoy high market cap, they have more prospects in the long-term run, these coins are less vulnerable to inflation. In addition, the system is completely decentralized, you don't have to worry about commissions and transaction intermediaries.

What are the other benefits of the coins mentioned above? I think you should start with small amounts of money, but I believe I will work with this project for a long time.

The price of some coins depends on absolutely random things, let’s say, Elon Musk’s tweets, after which Dogecoin skyrocketed. I recommend you to estimate the coin’s reliability first of all. From this point of view, BNB is my favorite. It’s based on Binance company, and the company is very promising. Also, recently, the demand for DeFi token technology has been growing, so I bought Pumpy.farm token, and I believe it has great development chances.

What characteristics should I pay attention to when choosing new coins which I want to invest little money to start with?

As for developing coins, it’s better to invest in the ones the supply of which doesn’t exceed 50 million coins. It means that the price will only increase, let alone other benefits. As for DeFi tokens, I only heard positive reviews about them, because they use blockchain and smart contract technologies, and their apps are very popular.

I’ve been working with cryptocurrency not for so long, I mostly invested in BTC, ETH and Nano. A loved the latter because of quick payment making without commissions and transactions are confirmed almost immediately.  But now, I consider new projects with promising technologies.

The key principle for choosing is market cap: you can make really a lot of profit only on popular coins. Another factor is issue, the fewer coins there’re, the higher the demand for them will be in the future.

DeFi projects gain popularity because even if token price reduces, it doesn’t mean you bear losses. These tokens are more persistent, they are more suitable for staking. I would highlight UNI, DAI, ZRX.

My strategy is to invest when popular coins’ prices drop but they still enjoy high demand: the coin’s price will increase anyway because many people will buy it.

I’ve already signed and started trying. EOS isn’t on the list of recommended coins, but I expect to see it there soon.

I hope your analysis is right and it’ll bring profit from investments. But I would entrust some part of my funds to the platform and follow its recommendations. It has already started helping me to make profit on mining.

It’s not a good idea to buy “meme” coins. The demand for them is high, but people lose interest in them soon. It’s better to buy the coins that enjoy high demand, let’s say, BTC and ETH.

I think EOS has potential, that’s why I invest in it. I analyzed it and I believe it’ll increase soon, that’s why I think the coin is promising.

I recommend you to try Pumpy.farm - Autofarmer and Best Yield Aggregator | DeFi. The platform has its own analytical section and recommends what to invest in and when. Now, I follow its recommendations to run a check. I’m satisfied so far.

Re: Which assets should I invest in during the current market drop?

I think I’ll start with investing some small amounts of money in projects with low market cap. I want to check each of them, learn about their liquidity and about how to make profit when studying a project.

In my opinion, the best coins are the ones that showed their potential during the market growth. The fact that the price grows means that people are interested in the project.

I’m not experienced, but I believe that now is the best time to invest. I think I can agree with you. It’s better to start with investing in well-known projects, let’s say, ETH and BTC.

Recently, I started using Pumpy.farm.

Analyzing the market, I also found out that there’re a lot of extremely promising coins, for example, ARPA, CHZ, TRB, XVS, TKO. The five coins can be a breakthrough in cryptocurrency market because they have clearly set goals as projects. Does the platform your told about work as a Defi project?

I agree with you when it comes to coins, but I still have doubts. It makes sense to invet in the projects that have been developing for many years and have a clearly set goal. Yes, this platform uses Defi system. You can make profit on staking. You can find documents here.

I think I’ll start with investing some small amounts of money in projects with low market cap. I want to check each of them, learn about their liquidity and about how to make profit when studying a project.

Now, I consider BNB and ETH for investing more seriously. Altcoins look promising for investing when the market drops. Now, they are the TOP-3 coins on CMC, that’s why I’ll definitely invest.

It’s hard to say now if it makes sense to buy cryptocurrency when it’ falling. Both drop and rise can follow. But if you do mining, I recommend you Pumpy.farm platform. It allows to gather all assets in the same storage and reduce the risks of mining if you are aimed at making profit.

I’ve been using it for several months. Portfolio analytics algorithms are worth mentioning: they help to optimize your income well.

Re: [ANN] Blox Staking - Ethereum 2.0 Fully Non-Custodial Staking

How can scammers benefit from the platform vulnerabilities and why can’t they do the same in case of Blox?

There’re several options. They can block the keys, extort money for them, steal the reward and etc. Some of them can even ruin the entire system. Blox uses decentralization which makes hacking impossible.

Does it turn out that it’s more beneficial to use Blox not only to maximize the profitability, but also to improve safety?

The platforms that store validator and withdrawal keys violate security meaning that there is the third party in the system. This leads to fees. The fees increase exponentially – the more validators participate, the higher the fee is. Yes, it’s harder to access this system, but the scammers manage to damage it anyway by reducing the profitability and etc.

What makes Blox different from platforms like that?

Blox doesn’t store validator and withdrawal keys. It allows to optimize setting up a validator and managing it in Eth2 system. It allows to maximize the profit and minimize the risks. But the main advantage is that the users fully control their assets.

How can scammers benefit from the platform vulnerabilities and why can’t they do the same in case of Blox?

What’s the problem with using similar platforms that can store the info on their own servers? I’m talking about the keys, stakes and so on.

There’re several types of platforms. Some of them store the validator keys of the users, but not the withdrawal keys. Thus, they can’t manage the users’ funds. This helps to ensure safety, but leads to high fees for reduced reward.

But it’ll be harder to access the funds if the platform doesn’t have full control over validators and keys, right?

Validators check and offer new blocks for the system, while miners compete for their generation. This process doesn’t require high electricity consumption and expensive equipment.

What are your recommendations on working with the platform? I’ll be very grateful for advice.

Each time a validator performs a task, it generates income which can constitute good profit with time. The number of the performed tasks depends on the capacity of a validator and the total number of validators. According to the official information, you can expect the annual rate to be 15-18% during the first year and 8-10% during the next one. You can use a calculator in your personal account to estimate profitability.

Thanks. I have one more question regarding the difference between Eth2 and Eth1. Could you please tell me more about it?

Eth2 is an enhanced version of Eth1. The consensus algorithm was updated and this let to use blockchain as a proof of stake, relying on the validators.

What makes it different from mining? It seems to me the processes are quite similar.
