Re: [ANN] DASH SCRYPT COIN (DASHS) LAUNCH SOON! Did you missed Dash train? ......
by
fernando

Why this name youre coin must use DASHs , same with DASH coin
i think is not good, i think is can't to great and big coin, if use same name another altcoin

you knows that DASH is top altcoins at the moment
So, the dev interested in to use the same ticker. yes it is not good idea.

Hi Mallampue and Cengsuwuei:

The intention is not to make the DASH competition much less, DASH is at its best and I hope it continues for a long time, is a great currency and is proving it, has been fighting for this site for many years and in the end has succeeded , Has a great team behind.

If it is true that can lead to confusion and it may seem that we try to take advantage of the situation, but the intention is not this, when the idea of creating ScryptDash, DASH was not a "trendig topic". Honestly I am more than the original DASH this where it is now giving war to BTC, ETH, XMR DASHS is successful.

I respect your opinion and I will respect all of them.

I hope you also respect me, we will try to do our best,

Best Regards,

I'm part of the Dash team. I was not going to engage, but I'm forced to do it because you are blatantly lying and trying to take advantage of people.

What you say is not true. Dash has been in the top 10 for years, you can't seriously say that when you thought of this new project Dash was not a trending topic. You mention Dash everywhere you are even using the same logo. You should be ashamed.

It would be fine if you forked the Dash project and did something different with it. That is the nature of open source. It would be fine if you created a new coin and tried to compete with Dash and all the other serious projects around. The more people doing crypto, the better. This is just a blatant attempt to camouflage an empty project so it looks like it is something else in the hope that people don't realize.

I doubt any exchange will ever accept this joke of a coin. If for some weird mistake one does, I'll make sure they understand that they are helping you scam people so they delist it.

TO ALL THE DISTRACTED AND INATTENTIVE ONES IN THIS THREAD: THIS PROJECT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DASH AND IT ONLY TRIES TO CONFUSE YOU. YOU WILL LOSE WHATEVER YOU INVEST OR MINE.

I'm interested in installing an ATM in Germany and need to know more about what AML and KYC activities I need to do.

Does anyone know a good online resource for this or a law firm with real experience in the field?

Are you going to go listen about Dash?
fernando does today in Madrid, Spain

Thanks DonQuijote!

There are no more seats available, but the event will be broadcast live here:
https://plus.google.com/events/cv5ianc39tj5mm27aaugmmbdrtk

It will start at 5.30pm CET.

It is on overview on Dash at a Bitcoin Meetup, so probably we won't go really deep:
-Privacy
-InstantX
-Governance
-Future relase of Evolution

Problem with withdrawals in COINS-E

Almost anybody uses them, but just in case... a few days ago a user contacted us because he was having problems to withdraw a few DASH from coins-e and he sent me a few screen captures. I tried to reach out to them to check but they don't answer emails, so I have deleted them from dash.org and I strongly advise against trading there.

A friend who I manage a handful of MN for pointed out to me that on dash.org resources list there doesn't seem to be any links to charting sites like,

https://dc-charts.com/chart_dash.php?ex=16&cu=0 &
https://dc-charts.com/depth_dash.php?ex=16&cu=0&tz=5&ar=1 or just
https://dc-charts.com &
http://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/dash also
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dash

- perhaps these and any others could be added to the home page.

Thanks for the links! We had more links to charts in the past, but sites kept changing and we went for the basics (dashninja and a difficulty + hashrate). However, you are right, we should have some market data. Let me think about how to do it, but I think a new 'Markets' (or something like that) item in the Resources menu, with a submenu to the different charts/sites, could be a good solution?

Any other link the traders here would consider useful?

Tante, thanks for pinging Smiley

I appreciate your questions.  I actually did this kind of backwards.  I had to
write all the code before I could convince myself that I could solve every
problem, then I wrote the paper.  I think I will be able to release the code
sooner than I could write a detailed spec.  You're already right about most of
your assumptions where you filled in the blanks.

PS. Btw, I'm not saying that that's the one and only right way to do things. But sometimes it works quite well as you might already know  Wink

Great point Smiley

Kinda related. For those who don't want to dig too much into forums, this collection of Satoshi's writings is great (it includes the one supra):

We already have a Dash wallet!!!

Besides that, fulltimegeek is quitting his job to work full time on Dash and he happens to be an Android developer, so expect nice news on that front  Smiley

No I haven't, it is you who is lying or you wrote too fast after barely reading the announcement. That time you post as proof is the time when I posted it to the forum. And it was also in the web post done a few hours ago by Phillip, which I used as a base for the announcement:
https://www.dashpay.io/news/iphone-dashwallet-release/

You are correct, it is at the press release. Clearly an error from my side. apologies.

"The Dash team is pleased to announce the release of an iPhone wallet for Dash based on the popular Breadwallet for Bitcoin"

... Not sure how much clearer you want us to make it...

Walter

It wasn´t there, so stop lying, it has been edited by fernando (fernando, Today at 3:55 AM ). You thought no one will notice it, but i did, because i used breadwallet before.

Robert Wiecko was working for greenpeace too, I like it  Smiley

O.o

Great, great, great, good luck guys. Please can you made a video of the presentation.
Will Evan be present too?

"Daniel Diaz, a serial entrepreneur from Panama, is responsible for Business Development for the anonymous cryptocurrency, Dash. His presentation for Bitcoin Wednesday will be about the four fundamental conditions that a decentralized currency needs to satisfy in order to be viable."

"Robert Wiecko, one of the two leading project managers for the anonymous cryptocurrency, Dash, will explain the challenges of adding and improving innovative features in a decentralized digital coin.
Robert is a certified Scrum Master, PM and ITIL professional who has worked for multinationals UBS, Cambridge Technology Partners, Hewlett Packard, Swiss Re, Greenpeace, Procter & Gamble, Swisscom and Novartis."

"Working with Robert Wiecko as a leading project manager for Dash is Balázs Király, known as Balu, a certified Scrum Master from Budapest with an MBA in finance.  Balu will talk about the state-of-the-art systems and processes they use to help Dash innovate faster than their competitors."

Yes, Evan is going and he's presenting... not sure why he's not in the website.

Website translated to Chinese!

https://www.dashpay.io/cn

We finally have the Chinese translation of dashpay.io live. It took more time than expected because the plugin that manages the translations had some trouble with Chinese, but we were able to find a workaround.

As always, all the work in Chinese has been done by Alexy and Raico, who are always there when we need them. Also, Tungfa, who doesn’t speak Chinese, but helps as much as if he did.
China is key in our long term strategy. We have been doing a lot of communication over there and Alexy and Raico, along with a few other Chinese community members, have been super active promoting Dash. We hope that the localized website will help them in the endeavour.

Next languages

We already have Chinese, Russian and Spanish done. We want more languages so we can increase our reach, but new languages are not just a one time effort. Keeping things up to date and helping users are ongoing tasks. We had thought that Portuguese, German and French made sense as the next picks, but it all depends on the availability of volunteers. If you feel you can help, please contact me (fernando@dashpay.io) and we can organize. You know who you are, so I won’t say names Smiley

The article says they're going to set up masternodes with their Dash instead of dumping them.

It's all a crock anyway since they never pumped it any in the first place. There was about 1000 bought on Finex the other day and the price shot up simply because supply is so thin.

i totally agree
this is a western hype on this chinese LTC pumper video
and until today nobody ever confirmed that that guy was actually talking about Dash

And im dying to see a Exchange that will introduce Instantx to their deposits/withdrawals !!!!!!!!

They could definitely do it for deposits, but they should have most of their funds in cold storage, so I don't think instantX for withdrawals would be feasible. The biggest lag is usually the withdrawal being processed, not the confirmations.

I have just added a new multipool to the list in dashpay.io
http://dashminer.com

They have been around for a while and maybe those who are interested already know, but I had not added them to the website yet. They have a thread at dashtalk.org:
https://dashtalk.org/threads/dashminer-com-multipool.5531/

As always, this is a third party service with which we are not affiliated, so please use your own judgement!

Btw, I forgot to mention before that they are donating "1% of miners profits" (not sure how that is calculated) to the Dash development fund. It is not much yet, but every Duff helps Smiley

Thanks !
