Re: Litecoin is below 5 USD ,what should I do

I would say it's time to start thinking about buying some LTC...

The difficulty has gone up at least 10X while the price has only gone down 10X. This will eventually lead to a supply squeeze and another bubble in price  Cool

Notice how the difficulty has been growing since January's ATH - https://bitcoinwisdom.com/litecoin/difficulty

Couldn't agree more
And it's also a really good time to start purchase some ASIC miners.
Factories like ZEUS or Gridseed are dying to clear out all their stocks, because they all need cash to run the next generation
,you may see the latest price dropping. It looks like a good chance to milk them to the last drop this time.

I heard of OpenSSL "effort" Vulnerability,is this the source of all these?
http://safeweb.norton.com/heartbleed
I check with minereu,it seems:https://minereu.com/ The existence of this vulnerability Angry
Hope you guys will fix it as soon as possible

You are right. I checked it too. Some problems are there. Heartbleed was a problem in Andreas Schildbach's Bitcoin Android Wallet but was fixed later. I think they can get some tips from Github source of the wallet. It will become a big problem if they don't fix soon. Sad

Kindly,
       MZ

I think it is a big problem right now
Maybe the best way is to buy coin since there is no safe site to go Sad

Re: Who else is getting the .jar email spam?

I think it's safe to say that common sense should be used when receiving attachments from either an unknown sender, or a known sender with no prior announcement - at the very least.

I'm not associated with x-hash, but since entering cryptocurrency I've been especially apprehensive about handling attachments on machine(s) that I use for any crypto-related functions.

Of course I am just wondering where my email was leaked. Its only been recent i've been receiving these emails almost on a daily basis now.

That's a fair point. The only thing that you can do is research into whether any of the sites that you use that email address on have been compromised. Of course, this topic is a bid to check x-hash, but it might be worth Googling whether any other sites you use it on have announced that they have been compromised. Reddit might be useful too.

I never heard or used xhash before, they seems brand new in here,no background and no reference to back up.
EU and GAW looks much better.

I check with minereu and gawminer,it seems that https://minereu.com/ The existence of this vulnerability
didn't get any information about GAW.

I'm still guessing it's the support email platform they are using...

Btw what the file does is download something from dropbox that will send your wallet.dat somewhere and delete yours. This can easily be prevented by not having it at the default location.

this is not support platform. it is Zendesk we are using , a hosted service which is used by millions of other companies.

As mentioned before my problems regarding this spam started when you asked me to send my inquiry via a different email account. So I sent my inquiry (which still has not been answered) via three different email accounts, two of them have never been in touch with bitcoin/litecoin related websites. Several hours later I received emails from "Minereu" with "invoice" as topic including those JAR Files on each of my accounts which I previously used to send the email. (Unfortunately I opened the .jar file and lost ~90LTC but this is not the point here)
I still receive that spam emails on those accounts although I never used them on other btc/ltc related sites before or after I sent you the inquiry.

90LTC lose Shocked
fell sorry for you man,I open it once, but I am so lucky that I did not use my personal computer that time.....

A lot of xhash users are also compromised, maybe this could be the source of the problem.
