Re Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc

If you ask this question on a btc forum, most people would choose btc.

If you ask this question on a gold/commodity forum, most people would choose gold.

In fact, both gold and btc has its value. It is quite difficult to compare directly.

Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this??

You can hold, but I suggest that you don't hold the full amount in BTC.

You can consider to use part of the fund to buy some very popular alt coins, such as LTC or DOGE, when their prices are low.

So you will be able to migrate some risks, and not solely be affected by BTC price fluctuations.

Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency?
by

some bad people will find your adress and visit your family, this is what i believe would happen with bitcoin legal.

I don't think it is so easy for bad people to find you and visit your family just because you use Bitcoin.

If so, everyone who is on the top of BTC rich list now will be in danger.

Glad to read it. Wink At least this guy is not anti-bitcoin. Policy will possibly be more open to Bitcoin, and that means less restrictions in using Bitcoin can be expected in the future.

u would hate Fiat to the  core!

I think it is not all about I hate fiat or not. I don't like fiat, honestly speaking, but I still cannot stop using fiat.

We don't have a better choice which is also widely accepted by most people.

Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon?
by
financetalks
on 03/12/2016, 17:31:01 UTC
According to the article, the CEO said that " but I think bitcoin could surpass the dollar as reserve currency within 10-15 years." Bitcoin will surpass it's use against the dollar. It will be great if the majority of the people around the world use Bitcoin. If that happens, I think that will be the start of the  ruling of Bitcoin. The wallet will be a reserve, instead of having banks to be used for storing your money.

Then at that time in the future, Bitcoin has surpassed the dollar.

That is too optimistic. It will be unlikely the majority of the people around the world use Bitcoin.

The interest rates may not continue to increase is USA if Trump wants people to invest in industry rather then financial instruments.

USA debts? They print USD Smiley

Nope. More investment in industry will push up inflation. That will boost the interest rates.

Re: The Future of Money?
by

I think it is very unlikely that we will see a worldwide crypto currency issued by a central bank since that will require a government so powerful that it can impose his will above the will of the other countries and while the U.S is very powerful is not that powerful.

It is possible if the central bank finds a way they can still control the crypto currency.

Central banks only care about if they can control the currency they issue, they don't care too much whether it is crypto or not.

Re: Is it better to save money or invest it?
by
financetalks
on 22/10/2016, 05:52:24 UTC
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

Both saving and investing are necessary.

Without saving, it is hard to get enough money to invest at start.

Without investing, it is hard to save enough money at the end.

Thus, it should always be a combination of saving and investing.

Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular?
by
financetalks
on 07/10/2016, 05:51:41 UTC
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

It will become more popular, because larger organizations will consider to use Bitcoin to transfer payments and won't need to worry about daily price fluctuations.

My rank changed at 1008 i think.. i had not been paying too much attention.
(or the activity level right before 1008)

i already knew i was Legendary so this was just a mere formality Grin
And yup mid-2013 to mid-2016 = about 3 years of LOTS of activity / posts / bans etc.

Just wait until you get to see the VIP section of the forum once it's unlocked for you.
That is where the Pump-Groups etc hang out and make big money $$$
Legend status has privileges  Cool

Didn't know about this special privilege.

I think I have to try harder to become Legendary faster.

Re: HOW TO ADD AN ADVERTISEMENT IN A BLOG
by
financetalks
on 26/08/2016, 15:28:45 UTC
So yeah.  I'm planning to make a blog about crypto currency. I'm planning to add some few advertisement. So how? Or is it when after the blog has reach some certain hits or something?
Bro If You Want to Add Advertising to your Blog then You Have To Start Editing Your Blog and You can Find the Editing option In the Dashboard Of your Blog Account and Also You Can Join Some Good And Paying Bitcoin Ad Networks.....
Some of them are Given Below and Tried By Me:-
1) Coinmedia.co
2) Mellowads.com
3) Bee-ads.com

Bee-ads is scam stay away from then They have already scam people by collecting money only but not displaying advertisements. Already people suffer from then scam services. Even I am a victim of counterfeiting with bee-ads. They robbed my money.

Me too Bee-ads is surely a scam.

Anyone tried Coinmedia.co or Mellowads.com. Are they good enough?

I will definitely like to trade but in small amounts.

The transaction fees at popular exchanges puts me off

Bittfinex: ~15%
Polniex:~25%
Kraken:~20%

How do you then make profit when you are only trading small amounts?

If the transaction fees eat you more than 15%, your trading amounts are really very small.

You probably should only withdraw after you do multiple trades and accumulate enough BTC.

Not a bad business idea. Just the price is not reasonable.

Bookmarked this one for future reference to see if the price will get more reasonable later.
