PrimeDice.com infinite Bitcoin giveaway!
www.primedice.com

PrimeDice is some new Bitcoin casino which released today. I feel sorta bad for the owner since they lost 217 Bitcoins in their first 5 hours (Probably more by now, maybe less), so I'm helping to market slightly for them to help bring traffic!

Their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208986.0

Basically, they're doing a promotion where you may enter a new payout address to play with, and you will be instantly funded 0.0001 Bitcoins! You may then proceed to bet with this free bonus until you reach over 0.0005 Bitcoin where you may cashout (There's a 0.0005 miners fee though for cashouts).

If you lose the free bonus, all you have to do is use a new address!

Good luck guys, enjoy it whilst it lasts. And for real gamblers out there I recommend PrimeDice. It's great.

Stunna (PrimeDice owner) gave me permission over IRC to make this thread btw.

If you enjoyed their giveaway, please let them know here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208986.0 and say I sent you maybe Tongue

The game seems a little flawed, you can't really cashout and your coin becomes stuck.

Simple rule. If it's easy to get money, it's a scam.

Re: GUIminer not detecting my video-card

Hi all! Just got a new place where my electricity is included in the rent so I figured I'd set up a miner. I've been thinking about it for a while so this is as good an opportunity as ever right?

I just want to get a miner going while I'm familiarizing myself with all the technical aspects of bitcoin. I've installed GUIminer and set up an account in one of the mining pools. However, GUIminer isn't detecting my video card. I've opened up my tower and made sure that I do in fact have a video card and that the monitor isn't just running off the motherboard.

Do I need two video-cards, one for my monitor and another unused video-card for mining, or can I use the same card for both at the same time?

Make sure you surf the AMD website or nvida site for your updated drivers. Could make the difference.

I'm on preparations for the first portfolio to be presented in this community to sell art for crypto worldwide.

Thank you very much.

Re: Quantum Computing and bitcoin

How are the D-wave systems are not quantum computers?

I've googled et all but still not understanding what the underlying qualifications for quantum computing may be?

They can't be used to mine bitcoin iirc

They could, but would bring huge fluctuations in conversion and logarithms of the system.
