I personally make between 0.5% to 2% daily on risk-free arbitrage trading. It used to be higher during the ATH in January 2018. Profit mostly depends on the market spread.

Hey guys, can gunbot do arbitrage trading between two exchanges? I am currently using CAT but it doesn't have an arbitrage function.

Firstly, the market price limit is just one among the many parameters CAT uses to trigger a ping/pong order. Some of your settings may be conflicting with each other which can either trigger or prevent orders from being created. So make sure you check your other settings first.

Second, a ping order is your entry, and pong is your exit. It is easy to get confused between the two especially beginners. In your above example, you have not mentioned which part of the trade you applied this setting. Is it ping or pong or both? If you applied it only to ping, then CAT will never enter a trade with that setting. If only Pong, then it will never exit a trade with that setting. If both ping and pong then you apply it to your entry and exit trades. I suspect that your problem is most likely in this area so check your settings again in which part of the trade you applied the price limit.

I have set Price Limit Rules based on last buy and last sell prices so I'm wondering if this would still work even after I restart CAT? Because I know the status and statistics tab resets to 0 after restart.. So if this resets then where would CAT base it's last buy and last sell prices?

I check my portfolio several times a day...  But no, I don't feel stressed when the value goes down (ok just a little!). I have already pulled out my seed capital and now just playing with free money..

Modesty aside... I'm a bitcoin millionare. Just not in dollar terms. 

Ouch. I personally cannot sell at more than 50% paper loss. I know it is is unlikely to go all the way down to zero so I just hang on. Your emotions and fear definitely got the best of you.

Bitcoin has already crashed from ATH. But if you are talking about btc going to zero, that is quite unlikely.

I do risk-free (almost!) arbitrage trading between two exchanges. I also have a trader bot that looks for at least 0.5% difference in bid/ask spread then executes a ping-pong trade.

It totally depends on your goal and strategy. I personally do 50-50 on my mining returns-- 50% I hodl and 50% to increase my trading capital. 

There is no other safe way to grow your bitcoins than to regularly buy with fiat. Trading is also an option but it's not risk free.

1. Definitely keep your greed in check. Taking small gains can add up quickly.
2. Use stop losses in your trades.
3. Don't chase green candles
4. Last but not the least-- BTFD!  (Don't go all in tho!)

Bitcoin also already changed my future as well. But the underlying blockchain technology is really the game changer.

Bitcoin is just starting to become mainstream. It would probably take another 5 years or so before I can say a newcomer to be "too late".
