Hello everyone,
I was mining on the Willipool with a Nano 3 like several people here, the miner was purchased in January 2025, it was set to High mode and generated the expected 4 Th, the two plastic covers were removed for better cooling.
It started to malfunction several weeks ago and finally stopped a few days ago. I noticed that the usb-c connector used to power it had literally melted, with traces of overheating in the connector housing on the Nano.
For a device requiring only 140 W to operate at full power, I'm not sure this type of connector is the best choice.
My message to all owners of these devices is to be vigilant if they're running in High H24 mode, and to check regularly that they restart without load.
I'm in discussion with the retailer, a store in Paris (phew, I don't have to deal with Canaan about the warranty).

for an full node, I use umbrel and Ckpool Docker for the pool (very easy to install)  https://github.com/golden-guy/docker-ckpool.
I have an good fiber connexion 10G and no latency prob.
This is just for fun, of course, with 2 Compac F connected to the pool, I don't expect anything.

Thanks CK, just for fun, I installed a ckpool docker on my umbrel node with a little compac F which will never pay off but I learned while doing it which was the point, thanks to you for sharing it

Hello, From France, latency observed this morning, for solo.ckpool.org 141 ms and for eusolo.ckpool.org 11 ms where I am connected.
I don't think it's linked to the pool, but rather to your hardware. To rule out any problem linked to the ck pool, test several hours of connection on another pool

j'ai effectivement reçu la même demande de Binance dont des documents relatifs à l'origine de mon patrimoine alors que je n'ai plus de crypto chez eux, résultat, au revoir Binance, leur carte bancaire n'existe plus depuis au moins deux ans, donc pas de raison de leur fournir quoi que ce soit de plus que mes documents d'identité dont ils disposent déjà et ce, dés la création de mon compte.
ça devient extrêmement  intrusif avec MICA, ce qui fait le plus flipper c'est que toutes nos données peuvent se retrouver un jour en vente si ils se font pirater comme Free par exemple en octobre 2024 et les tentatives d'arnaque se multiplie par mail et téléphone (tentative infructueuse par téléphone la semaine passée en ce qui me concerne).

after an absence due to the Gekko hub which gave up the ghost (rather the voltage regulators broke one after the other).
I'm back with an Avalon Nano 3 set to medium mode to last a while if possible.
You can replace the Compac_F, which no longer has a usb hub for working, with the Nano. If you prefer, I can change the worker number
