Unfortunately, FitTech Hosting no longer offers hosted MPOS, piWallet or Explorer services due to regulations with our bank. However, our sister company "Crypto with a C" will be launching soon.

As the developer and creator of piWallet, I do not recommend using third parties but to each their own.

piWallet is still running strong. However, I do not suggest that anyone who is not a developer to run the software. Please take a look at managed services at https://fittechhosting.com/cryptocurrency

I think etherum and tokens are a joke, so I really don't know. DOGE, of course, would work fine.

Hi,

I just set this up in my test environment, and I am able to send, receive, create users. This is a great piece of work. I run an instance of my altcoin's wallet on my pc, piWallet code runs on Apache on the same server (WAMP).

However, I noticed that for every new user I create, the balance remains the same. So if I create a new user now, the new user's balance is the same as the admin's. I am sure I am doing something wrong, somewhere.

Is this something you are familiar with? Can you point me in the the right direction if possible, please?

Many thanks!

This might be a flaw in the altcoin's daemon itself, also I recommend running it on a LAMP stack instead, as that is what it was developed for. Which coin are you're running it with? Do you have enableaccounts=1 set in the coin.conf file?

DeepOnion comrades, we are devastated to announce that OnionWallet has been tampered with / hacked this morning [we are in GMT+3 timezone]. As far as we can see now approximately 5000 Onion have been sent to unknown addresses. All funds have been drained...

If you had a balance please PM us your info and-or post it here - we have to track who lost what.

We will update you as soon as we have more information to share.

We are deeply sorry.

WARNING: piWallet is not secure software apparently!

piWallet is a very secure software, what happened is an administrator had a very weak password and did not have 2Factor Authentication enabled which led to someone logging in to an admin account and spending all the coins. Thank you for your concern, and please secure piWallet properly next time.
Alright, yet how can you know, sir? Of course our Admin account's password had 32+ chars, very complex, and it had 2-FA enabled. Someone gained root access... This could mean that it may be unrelated to piWallet itself - but the server was secured with extremely complex passphrase and only allowed root ssh connections temporarily.
We have lost some of our own ONION funds as well. Either way: we are to blame and we are deeply sorry for this loss.

Why wasn't 2Factor enabled on the server?

I think the official pool had some problem I'm mining at 3 ghs but I saw only 700mhs there and also 0 blocks in the last 20 mins. And also the last block was 80 mins ago?

Please choose the correct port per the difficulty:

3008: 8
3333: 32
3256: 256
3004: 512
3005: 1024
3006: 1536
3007: 2048
3018: 3072
3009: 4096

Thank you!, I'll be sure to update the getting started page with this information too.

I followed the setup completely to the best of my knowledge, however when I access the server via web browser it doesn't look like the daemon is talking to piwallet.

Share your common.php and coin.conf file with me please.
