Hi guys, I am the developper of the mobile app, and now beta testing.

I am not officially affiliated to the LISK Team, but as Max mentionned i am actively participating in the development of LISK.

For those interested in beta testing the app, register here:

So when is the new start? Are the bounties also affected by that or can we get btc instead.

How many Usefull Dapps do you expect from the start on? Are the crypti Dapps working on Lisk?

Are there some demo Dapps?

There are serious problems running Dapps on Lisk.

I guess we will not see the start soon. Is there a timeline?

How many devs are working right now for Lisk?

Sorry Johny, but from the first post I see that you don't know much about Lisk. So please don't spread FUD. Smiley

- Start is end of April, 11th April was only an estimation until now. We communicated since the beginning that we will have a better picture on the 4th.
- Bounties will be distributed 1-2 weeks after launch, as previously mentioned.
- Useful dapps from the start, a handful.
- Crypti dapps: There were no Crypti dapps besides my Twitter-clone.
- Lisk dapps:

Working:
https://github.com/MaxKK/guestbookDapp
https://github.com/MaxKK/blockDataDapp

WIP:
https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk-tokens-dapp

I also know of community members that they have working dapps, but I can't disclose them.

- There are no critical issues with Lisk. The majority of the issues on GitHub are "enhancements" (feature-requests) and "questions".

There are 2 security related issues, fixed soon. And also 11 bugs, many of them very easy to solve, already solved or not critical.

A pre-launch development roadmap will be posted this week. As mentioned in the blog post. Currently it's still Oliver and I. Plus 100 beta testers, many good devs and helping hands.

Hi guys,
I have started the development of a mobile lisk light wallet. It is fairly advanced and hope to launch it around the mainnet launch. Here are the features that will be present at  launch:
- switch between mainnet and testnet (50% done)
- autodiscovery of peers (done)
- multiple accounts management (done)
- QRcode scan to register an account (done)
- send LISK to your contacts or using QRcode (66% done)
- secure your passphrases with master password (high standard security, using AES, salted password hash) (90% done)
- simple transactions inspection (50% done)

maybe at launch:
- delegates dashboard (follow the delegates you voted for, uptime etc...)
- network health dashboard

Future features: please propose, I may develop some kind of democratic Dapp to vote, finance and let the community push for their priorities.

I believe this is something still unseen in ETH environment and will add a strong value to the LISK.

I am not affiliated to the LISK Team and have done the development on my own fundings so far.

To finance development of the app I propose :
- For everybody: to vote for my delegate (name of the delegate will be disclosed after them mainnet launch)
- For people that are part of 101 delegates forging accounts: to send me monthly amount of LISK your choice (account will be publicly disclosed after the launch, in the future a special "active delegate" menu will be present in the mobile app). If agreed, the delegates will be present on a sponsoring page for general awareness and reputation.

You made a brand new account just to copy and paste the first post..... why?

You just fully quote the guy that copy paste the first post.... why?

He showed that we don't give a fuck about it and could easily quite the whole thing ourselves Smiley So such trolling attempts are useless.

Oh gosh, did i just troll a troll? those things are contagious!!! Smiley

Hi goldeneye,
Sources are coming, i am polishing the android light client Smiley. Note that this is a DAPP light client, not a LISK light client. Hence the security issue.
1. Yes, for security, so far the passphrase is stored inside the client and then each time a transaction is made, it is sent to the API. This is a known limitation of LISK so far and we are already working to come up with a solution with the LISK team. This is not trivial.
2. Yes, but as a start this is enough.

I'm curious  Smiley

Fixcrypt from the Lisk Chat just showcased a Dapp lite client, separated from the full client. It can run anywhere, without having Lisk installed.

Yes thanks LiskHQ, I'll push the whole source on github later today. This is simple so far with a few bugs around the edges, but sufficient I hope to show the potential of LISK. I started to work on it yesterday. It tells you how fast you can set up something with LISK.

Awesome, fixcrypt! It is amazing how quickly you have created this example.
Please post here (or better in the Lisk forum) the link to the sources.
I would have still two comments:
  • It seems to be not a light client (in terms of security), so the transactions are not localy signed. Rather, it seems to be a remote GUI for a externel Lisk node (usage of the node API). In addition, each user must be aware of the fact, that he shares the passphrase with the developer of the client. You have to trust the developer absolutely.
  • Node URL: only encrypted connections or connections to localhost should be allowed
