Depends on if you want to do trading as a living or as a side-hustle.
If you want to do it for a living you need a higher amount because you need a reliable, regular payout. If it's just a side-project, it could be any amount because you don't need to cash out and can just keep increasing your stash.

Re: Best wallet for altcoins?

It can be quite bothersome that many coins need their own desktop wallet. But apart from that, obviously myetherwallet for tokens or coinomi on android has quite a few coins supported.

Invest in any new coin with a market cap below 1 million, that's not an obvious scam. Chances are very high it will go at least to 1 million market cap at some point in time.

Re: [ANN] Iridium - People are Power - PoW - No Premine - Community Built
by

Hi Fellow, please pay attention :

Here is the situation at ~200 blocks before Hard Fork (It means in a few hours) :

- One of the three pools still down : mine77.net
- the second pool : [Suspicious link removed] doesn't seems to run the latest iridium core daemon (we have no communication about this)
- the third pool (mine) : ird.uvac.fr is running the latest core version

The incoming hard fork is an upgrade of the iridium blockchain protocol with bug fixes, security improvements and prevention to hacks like "instamining".

When the hard fork comes, people who stay mining on the old blockchain protocol will follow a way while the others will take a new way : the one with the upgraded protocol. Now, with a global network hashrate of ~126 kH/s, ird.uvac.fr is running at 68 kH/s.

So you have 2 choices : stay on the old way and leave the protocol as is with it's non resolved problems, or take the cleaner way.

At this time, the only possibility is to switch your miners to ird.uvac.fr because it's the only one who runs the new core daemon.

For this important moment, I will run the pool from now at 0% fee because my goal is not to soliciting you to join my pool but make the hard forking as smooth as possible.

Moved my 1.5KH/s to your pool. I've been lurking on this thread for a while and I really appreciate the effort you're putting into this Smiley

I think its a boon. more usage. more tech development. brighter future

100% agreed. In the short term it will be annoying but mid- to long term this is going to help ethereum a lot.

Funny thing, so many guesses, but all of them can't be true, so someone will loose and someone earn. Smiley

Just what I was thinking Cheesy The "safest" bet is probably to spread it on top 10 coins that have a steady uptrend. That's the least speculative thing I can think of in crypto.

Competition is always good, otherwise we'd still be stuck with the same software 10 years from now. I can only imagine, what things will be like then.

Nice summary! I believe when IOTA completely gets rid of the coordinator in 2018(hopefully) it won't  be affected by bitcoin price movement at all anymore and move on its own.

IOTA has a wallet and as long as you keep your seed save and don't do anything stupid, you won't loose your iota.
Most of the problems about "lost" balances are actually about balances not being displayed correctly.

I also believe that DOGE, as the original shitcoin, will always have value. It's the same thing with bitcoin, because it's the first one, more people know about it.

I think it's possible. Especially if ethereum manages to surpass bitcoin in marketcap there's going to be a good amount of FOMO driving the price even higher.

Re: Bittrex: Keine Auszahlung ohne Verifizierung?
by

on 22/11/2017, 18:03:22 UTC
