Yikes, haha. Thanks for sharing, good for a laugh. Grin

HashFace, I agree 100%. I try to keep reminding myself that hindsight is 20/20. Easier to say, "why didn't I buy Bitcoin when it was so cheap?" now, but at the time when it was really cheap you would have never said, "I'll buy $500 worth in case it goes up to $5000 per coin". At that time, it would have been completely unprecedented. Instead you were thinking, "oh man, I don't want to lose this $500." Hopefully you're not losing sleep over it, lol.

Definitely give it time. Bitcoin has been around for quite a while, but for the general public it is still quite new. Countless comparisons have been made to the 1990s, when the Internet started generating buzz. If we knew then what would be possible only a few years later, we probably wouldn't have believed it. Look at credit cards before and after tap payments were introduced. Before that technology, I always used to wonder why they couldn't streamline that process to do away with swiping and entering pass codes.

Anyway, the point is, if history repeats itself (which it is known to do), this problem won't be a problem for too much longer.

I'll be watching the hourly charts with great interest over the next 24 hours, as I'm sure all of you will be too. As others have said, there will likely be a selloff now that the price has been flirting with that psychological value that had people thinking, "when it hits $5k, I'm going to cash out!", as has happened previously. How much it drops will be interesting to see, and even more interesting will be how fast it recovers and how much it will increase from there.
