Ethereum still has long ways to go. Still early in adoption.

Is Dash still alive? Lot of payment processors like Coinbase commerce.coinbase.com or Poof www.poof.io/, Paypal, Square, etc don't accept Dash anymore for payments.
It's had a pretty big fall from grace since 2017 although it's still on a few exchanges.

Re: Is it cheaper to send Bitcoin or Ethereum directly?
Definitely Ethereum still but not for ERC20 tokens.
Eth gas fees were ($0.9187) and BTC gas fees were ($1.450) today. If you're comparing popularity as a payment method though, this just means BTC is still more widely used, hence more transaction fees. Payment processors like https://www.poof.io/ and https://cash.app/, Square, Coinbase... etc probably all have extremely high payment volume with Bitcoin.
Thanks.
Can anyone else agree or disagree?
Also I been sending Eth to myself a few times, it is costing 30-60 cents as this tracker states:
I think maybe the tracker your using includes NFTs or something, this tracker has always been more accurate and shows NFTs and other fees seperate.
People probably need to take into account there's fluctuations on the fee price.
ETH gas fees are dependent on computational complexity, so it's a little harder to calculate "what is average" since it depends on the contract details. But yes, for normal sends, ETH is probably cheaper. You can have low BTC gas fees when broadcasting a TSX but if you want to wait a long time for a miner to pick it up, then normally exchanges/wallets use higher sat/bytes.

Don't think so unless FTX single-handedly becomes the next biggest exchange (over Coinbase + Binance)
Only use case I see is for institutions to get lower fees on the trading platform. $100 ATH implies a 45B market cap, which is 4x the size of Coinbase as a token.
Unless FTX becomes a $1T company like Google, it's not happening.

Re: Would this Lead to the Mass Adoption of Bitcoin?
No doubt DOGE is pumping and I'm sure that Elon has plans to integrate it into Twitter in a way that will get a lot more users to begin holding and spending it. The thing is, I believe that a lot of the holders now are already in it to dump for profits. That's why even on this news the price of DOGE is still struggling to break it's last high of $0.20. Until that happens, I just assume we're seeing more pumps with lower highs, which is the way that most people lose money on these sorts of things. I think it's very possible for DOGE to break out above a dollar if Twitter implements it well. I also see a chance that it's best days are behind it and it struggles to hold it's value from here forward, as we have been seeing since Saturday Night Live.
Aside from Twitter, there's a thousands of other companies starting to accept Dogecoin on platforms like https://www.poof.io/.
There's actually strong fundamentals regardless of Elon Musk.

Bitcoin and US Digital dollars should go hand in hand. There's lots of companies using both digital balances like Paypal (https://paypal.com/), Square (https://squareup.com), and Poof (https://www.poof.io/) already to accept both USD and crypto alike.
As I see it, the more payment methods, the merrier.
