Why, so the people who had hacked other people's passwords could grab tons of BTC and trade somewhere else? There were hundreds of accounts with unsecured passwords cracked within hours, 10% of them probably had 1 or 2 or 10 BTC on it. I had what I always considered a secure password and mine was hacked after a day. Yeah, it F@&ked the markey, but freezing it was the best thing they could have done.

I know this list isn't all of the passwords that were cracked. My username/password are not on this list, and I had my account, and one of my bank accounts compromised (I keep under $3 in the balance, so I don't care about it).

I would also check https://shouldichangemypassword.com/ It correctly reports I've hade my password compromised once on June 19, 2011. I got an email from Chase about my account on June 20, so it seems pretty accurate.

Been bitcoining since April, just not posting on the forums much. I tried a little bitcoin gambling early, lost like 3 coins total back when they were around $1 each, boy do I regret that now.

If anyone shared passwords between their mtgox accounts and any other websites, change them now. I just had my bank account temporarily locked, and got a notification from gmail asking to change my password due to suspicious activity. Apparently someone tried to set up a transfer on my bank account to another, jokes on them, that account had a balance of under $3.

It's my own stupid fault for sharing my password between accounts, even on my empty bank account, I know that. But this is a message to anyone who does the same, and a real wakeup call for me. My password was relatively secure, but no longer will I take chances like that by sharing or having passwords on anything important less than 20characters.

Coins dropped by abut $6 the past day and a half, that doesn't have you worried at all? I'm still holding on to my bitcoins in hopes of another rally. I'm just scared I didn't wait too long...
