Re: The Collapse of The American Dream Explained in Animation

What misinterpretations or mistakes are presented in this video, if any? Serious question, I don't know all the facts myself.
There is none. The video obviously presents it in a negative way, but the information in it is true.

SO there is a real time machine? I want it.

Re: How many bitcoin enthusiasts are there?

Define enthusiast.

Is someone an enthusiast if they have a blockchain.info wallet, but have never owned more than a few fractions of a bitcoin from one of the faucets?

How about if they occasionally use bitcoin for purchases in a niche market, but nothing else?

If they have the reference client installed, but only run it when they want to make a tranasction?

If they use it, but have no understanding at all about how/why it works, and what it's benefits are?

What about someone who has a decent understanding about how it all works, but isn't interested in using it?

Perhaps someone who understands it well, and uses it for transactions, but doesn't contribute beyond that?

Someone who mines, and immediately sells for their local currency, but has no idea whay they are mining, or why it makes them money?

Does a person have to actually contribute programming skills to the project to be considered an "enthusiast"?

I would limit it to people who supports or is in favor towards bitcoin

Thats a good idea, i really dont think its fair people can buy from amazon to skip paying tax.  In the short term you save a few bucks, but when everyone is doing it...your kids get a lower quality education, crime goes up, unemployment goes up

Is this guy serious?

Billionaires like Tax Evasion

Question Blocks
by
flatiron
on 26/08/2012, 00:57:41 UTC
While exploring the subject of bitcoin, I found this article about blocks in this wiki page (forgot the name of the site). Apparently, blocks, which records every transaction, can also record the ip address of the sender and receiver. I love being entirely anonymous, so I was wondering if there was a why to prevent a block from recording your ip address.

Da Fuq? There is no way you can raise 100000 bitcoins. If I am not mistaken, that's about 10% of the current amount of bitcoins in circulation. As for the investments, where did find these investments?

Thank you for the advice. I used blockchain.info to hold my bitcoins, but when I read this thread, I am starting to think that I should instead stick with the client wallet that weusecoins provides

Though far from becoming true, I intend to develop a bitcoin marketplace similar to silk road. I also wish to form an online bitcoin grocery store. Working on a very simple social networking site. Practice purposes, nothing more. If anyone wishes to look at the simple site, feel free.
