Hi guys last year i started to get into this when it jumped up to 1100 or so, and was giving some btc to a guy lmontrose that was going to get the new machines, well i just came back from a deployment, looks like he failed and made off with some of my btc

But i would like to know how, if its worth mining and what are the best ways to do it now, i have not even looked at whats out in the last year.

im guess GPU are not worth it anymore, and last i heard 3 was fastest, not sure, and now that btc is really cheap are the machines still expensive?

Hello, as far as the alt coins go, i seem to only be able to get some mined coins when it first starts, once more then say 25 workers mine, i get next to nothing, lol.... i been on bilcoin for 4 days now and am up to 1300 coins.... but then i see some new coins come out and people are making 100k first day, and such

What would be a good min hashrate for alt coins? i can get up to 1mh right now, but am wanting to add another card, and hopfully get up to almost 2mh.... or just build a new rig with 3 280s

is the pool not working? i logged in and made my worker and then made my bat file

but it just says failed to connect, any help?

This is where i downloaded from, seems it says i am 9 hours behind, with 8 connections, and its not syncing... hmm well looks like it started, but stopped after 5410

hello, i am new to cgminer, and am all ready confused... can cgminer mine every type of coin or just btc?  also when i did run it i got a lot of nothing

on the cgminer i get info like this

i see the block change every few minutes but most everything is 0, its not like cpuminer were it shows me mining, and i see my hashrate, and blocks found and such

i am so lost, so if you are still sober from last night, please send me a pm, or reply to point me in the right direction
