Trying to get a rig set up on your OS. Getting stuck at "root@simplemining.net" I don't think it is accepting the email for some reason. Flashed the OS that your site shows and changed email. Help please. Thanks

140mm fan dropped temps a bit but temps were okay with out it

the monitor  is attached to one of the 1080ti's  to the riser to the usb 3 cable to the pcie 1x 16 slot

Those gpu power cables look familiar Phil. How do you like them? Have more 6+2 connectors on the way if you need any more. Also let me know if you need any riser power cables. Thanks, FM

I have received a few email alerts of those algos restarting. I suspect some sort of DDoS which get mitigated automatically but causes a restart of that algo. The yiimp pools have been targets recently and there's not much more I can do. I'm away camping with minimal access but seems recent changes I've made improved the ability to detect theses attacks and recover without taking down the rest of the pool like what happened last week.

If it is DDOS attacks causing this then you did a good job setting it up to mitigate the downtime. Is still aggravating seeing your hash wasted.

Man, i feel like i might have made my first greedy big trade mistake.... sigh.... what was i thinking.....

last few days i have been killing it on sigt trading it with the moment, turned 67k of sigt into 122k, then when sigt went flat today i moved it over to bittrex bought in on btc/bch a few times and the gains were just way way to good all day.. super predictable and then i mistakenly clicked max for a buy order and didnt realize it... meant to click max bch per 10% of my btc balance.. little did i know i bought in with max btc on bittrex 2.6 btc @ 0.091 btc/bch purchase... sigh... i hope i just didnt piss my days earnings down the drain.... managed to trade 1.8 btc today into 2.6 btc

LOL... reminds me of my own case sometime ago.

Take it as a life long lesson.... just don't repeat the same mistake twice!

Do any of ya'll use trading bots? Not enough hours in the day for me to do any real researching or trading so  was thinking of trying out a bot. Thanks, FM

flminer sent one to be reviewed by me.

Of course with shifting and rearranging gear.  I do not have enough pcie cables to do a proper review.

I ordered a set of cables from side hack and will be reviewing this in a few days.

I do have enough parts to run a mobo with no gpus  and will photo it shortly

running a mobo
the 8 pin cpu is plugged in
the 24 pin mobo is plugged in
a hdd is plugged in

better shot of hdd

better shot of 24 pin and the branch off to the hdd

close up of breakout board
the pico is on the right
the long pcie cable is on the left---- it is not in use

the pcie cable not in use

I ran this z270 mobo with 24gb ram and a 1tb laptop hdd
I synched a empty core wallet

I used this psu
black plug which is gold or silver

if you need the psu's look for the blue plug they are plat

this pico is nicely modded.

I have 2 pico's on hand
I have 1 psu on hand
I have 1 breakout board on hand.
I have pcie cables on order from sidekick
I have a breakout board on order from holybitcoins.
I will be ordering a new psu from sidehack if he has a blue plug plat one.

not sure if flminer is doing cables or psu's or breakout boards.

But his picos are my favorite design so far.

I will be doing some other things  with his pico's very soon just need to be sure it works.  before I show them here.

Glad ya like it brother! Am working on a breakout board design with external panel mount switch and a reset switch for the motherboard (both will be mounted on a bracket). As far as 6 + 2 cables, am still debating if I want to get involved in that (very time consuming).

Hi guys, have a question. were do i get info on how many miners i can run off my available power. i have a new 125 amp service with 4 open spots. how many bitman d3 could be put on this. is it just one per breaker? or is there a better way to setup?

What else the panel supplying power for? AC? Heater? Stove? Water Heater? Water pump? There is no way for us to know the answer to that without physically checking the power draw of everything in the panel. Sorry. An electrician will be able to tell you how many available amps you have to use. The number of open slots in a panel means nothing.

I'll take it. Will you do escrow?

Please use escrow for this transaction as listed here. You are both brand new.
If you cannot find an escrow on the forums reach out to trusted members and one will help you.

Seems to be the way to go, thanks. Smiley

I have used philipma1957 and highly recommend him for escrow.

Where is a good place to pick up some additional Dual 6+2 Pin PCI-E and a couple 6 Pin PCI-E for an EVGA G3 psu?

no where .

but if you look here on this site a few guys will make custom for you.

I have not had a custom done in a while.

anyone had some custom done  lately?

Sidehack has done some custom cables for all my needs when I had a couple of EVGA 1300 g2. Give him a buzz.

Edit: I have switched everything to dual server PSU + minipico PSU now. So much easier working with them.

Sorry, right now I only have enough for my own rigs needing built. Have more ordered though. Also have more pico psu ordered to mod.

Just done this kind of mod to my 160w pico. 6pin male to 8pin EPS (not pcie) for mobo with a pigtail for power the pico. All off a single 6pin pcie from my server psu breakout board. Only 7inches long so nice and compact for my small rig.

They sure make things nice don't they? Of course am using EPS connector for cpu. I can shorten up the power leads if people want them shorter. I need them long for my cases though.
