It's exactly the same thing as in software development, since basically it's also a fork on the code.

Fork can be because you need two different versions for two specific use cases, or juste because there is a difference on the vision of the product.

I think this is the first time that I see a blockchain project which aim to help people, instead of being money oriented. You guys have the potential to make people believe and understand that the cryptocurrencies can in fact help people instead of being just a speculation market full of money hungry people.

One thing I understood from people that have success in trading is that they follow the people behind the currency they invest in, and the news. This give them an overview of the potential pump of their coins.
Another thing is checking the community behind the coins.
And finally a lot of youtuber, Facebook groups/pages provide some interesting information and point of views. And sometimes they even share information from dedicated websites that you can then follow!
Basically this is what I do to get information for the trades I do.

If you wait more, BTC will continue to dump a bit, then BTH will drop, which will make people go back to BTC, and BTC will rise again from the dead. This sh*t is resilient as F !

I have been following bitcoin for a while now, from back to when it was around a couple hundred dollars, but I was too afraid to jump on this train at the time.
Now that I see it's current level, I'm quite sad to have missed this opportunity, but, I'm ready to got for it.
The thing is, regarding the current situation where the altcoin market is quite calm and Btc on the way for the unknown with the next fork, I'm not exactly sure what strategy I should adopt.
Shall I just invest in BTC, no matter what will happen with the fork? Shall I invest in certain good value altcoins waiting for BTC to stabilize?
I know this is a question that comes a lot from beginner like, and I'm sorry If it's just another random post but I didn't found the answers to my questions for now.

in my opinion as a newbie, I'm waiting for the final result of the fork I keep my eyes on the news, on the social networks in everything related, while the investment in bitcoin, I chose the atcoins analyzing and investing, waiting for readjustments in the BTC!
It seems to be a very nice scam. It's a huge amount of money, and usually, you either can't fulfill what they ask, or you never get your money from this kind of things. Never believe things that are too easy. 10$ a day is just crazy
It may be because BCH is the closest to what Btc would have been if the fork would have went through since the block size is much higher. Maybe the people that believed in the fork went for it. I don't know if it's interesting buying BCH now since it went up so much, it may go a little bit down to correct itself.

It's just my opinion, but if I were you, I would just wait. Price will go up again, that's pretty sure. But for now it's on a down trend because the price increased because people thought they could get more because of the fork. It won't go down forever, and once this will be done, it will surely be back on its feet. If you sell now you may end up losing money
