hello everybody,
I've paid for 2 s4 batch 1 that received last friday. Both of them were working ok with default parameters (not overclocked yet) until yesterday night that one of them was powered down and now I'm not able to power on it again. I've tried unplug the wire, changing the wires between them, but the result continue to be that this machine doesn't work.
Any suggestion please?
Thanks in advance.

I had a power unit go down last weekend.

I need help for configuring the stratum proxy and the workers in the pool.
Currently I have a KnC Saturn working at 320 GHps and 2 Antminer S1 working each @ 193GHps, with 3 separate workers in btcguild using eu-stratum.btcguild.com:3333 as stratum server for each worker. All 3 workers has 256 difficulty set in the pool settings.
I'm trying to use the Stratum mining proxy but I have some doubts on the proper settings.
I think I should use another new worker that was responsible of all the shares with a new difficulty of 512, so the stratum mining proxy should point to this new worker with the -cu USER_ALLWORKERS -cp any.
So with these settings the traficc between the proxy and the pool should be restricted to shares with 512 of difficulty and minimize traffic.
First of all, are my guess ok?
The problem is that it doesn't work as expected in a windows version of the stratum proxy with the 2 Antminers connected because all shares appears as rejected by low difficulty.
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

I was searching if this piece of software exists and maybe all could be done with slush's stratum proxy available @ git repository https://github.com/slush0/stratum-mining-proxy. I will try it.

Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] btcolympus.com 28nm Hercules ~500 GH/s ASIC NO PREORDERS!
by

on 16/12/2013, 10:24:36 UTC
Website says Error, but sends you an email anyway, to get you on the mailing list.  That appears to be all the info we have presently.

Our policy was and still is, not to throw information (like prices) until we are sure of it.
We are sure of:
  • Our Poseidon machine will be equipped with Hercules ASIC
  • Hercules which is capable of more than 500 Gh/s hashing power.
  • Power consumption is less than 0.9 w/gh/s
  • Payment will be with Bitcoin and 90% Paypal. If not Paypal, another payment gateway like Dwolla, Payza, 2CO.
  • Our first batch will be IN HAND with NO PREORDERS
  • If you pay with Bitcoin your Privacy will be protected with us!!! and you will be able to use Split Payments
  • Our Prices will not be inflated

For all the users considering getting one i urge you not to be scammed. You are a no name company and you expect use to just go and layout half bitcoin with no proof of any unit, no proof of any asic, less then 1 week on bitcoin, site only up for 2months?

I understant your point of view and i embrace it. Everybody should be aware of scams. I personally have been reading this forum for monts and we know that our customers are very wise people. We guarantee you that we will provide proofs of product working and every information needed BEFORE we open sales! Please give us the benefit of doubt, until then. I promise you all we will try to fulfill our mission, which is 100% costumer satisfaction
What about the proofs you previously guarantee before you open sales?

Hello
I've ordered a prospero-x3 and received an email with a btc account for payment and 24 hours for that, but in his knowledge base blackarrow say:
"Payment & queue
Posted by Support Black Arrow on 18 November 2013 04:17 PM

All orders are shipped in the order of payment, not in the order that they have been placed. This means that by placing an order and not paying it you will not reserve your place in the shipment queue.

All orders have 15 days to arrange a payment for your order. After 15 days we will send a payment reminder which will give you 5 more days to the end of which your order will be cancelled."

I fear that the received email could not be legit and I will send my btc to other people.
Have someone previously paid in that way?
Thanks in advance,
Regards.

IMHO GHash.io is a clear candidate.
See http://blockchain.info/es/blocks/GHash.IO last blocks 268570,268571,268572,268573 and the latency between them. See also the orphan blocks it is involved.
See also the fork after block 268201, GHash.IO beat the competition with blocks 268202,268203 and 268204 in a row.

Re: [ANN] Bitfury ASIC sales in EU and Europe
by

I have the intention of buying one starter kit now and buy more hasing cards in the future. I've found the following problems:
The VAT is not properly disccounted for my company. The checkout process say "You have entered an invalid VAT number (BXXXXXXXX) for your country." How do you check this field?.
The "extra-charges" of bitpay payment method. This is anti-bitcoin motif. I need to pay 1240€, that bitpay converts to 24,3032 BTC at an exchange of 51,02 €/BTC, but because I have € and not BTC at this moment, actually I need  aprox. 54 € for 1 BTC at "bitcoin.de" market, thats aprox 6% charge, and I'm assuming the risks that €/BTC will go down between the time I start the transaction at the exchange market and when I will finally receive the btcs.
So, dear BitfuryStrikesBack people, why not accept SEPA transfers with all warranties for you and any inconvenience for us, the customers?.
Regards.

Check here and use your own VAT number twice: http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/?locale=en
Hi,
I've checked and the page says "Yes, valid VAT number" in green.

This is the second transfer today, so a total of 64 chips.

I've been tracking this second transfer and I've discovered that was done with another addres. The first payment that I've sent you today create a new "change account" with the reamining btcs, and that was then used for the second payment. I didn't know that bitcoin-qt could do that. You can see it in the initial transaction

0437846789953f2d6520f6f85430d724bb91f57467677ab8ac917e223bb30fd0 2013-05-21 11:53:42

                                                              185um4LMbmv5Gfr6zx6p56FdShibuxA8ro 3.838 BTC

And the transaction with the second payment is
5ab046a7c0b94ce32197e4fa634ad5ad2def305a20c7d9060a22b04a23b848ca 2013-05-21 18:02:31
185um4LMbmv5Gfr6zx6p56FdShibuxA8ro --> 12o8iQqAve6yN6QnjhVg1yuaASb66jPJhs 2.592 BTC
                                                            16W4QCCrhuUNynbcX2zAFyYVqZySq66Peh 1.246 BTC
The problem is that I have no control of these "change account".
Please T13hydra, Could you confirm that you received all payments and group the two orders for the initial 169aGEDiYyQST13J5doPnzSH2N9zQycapV address.
Thanks in advance.
