I switched to the slush proxy, and it stays up for between one and three days at a time now. But then it will still *click* and shut itself off, requiring a manual toggling of the power.
[edit] I'm using the slush proxy with the -rt option to relay the vardiff changes along to the cube directly. I'm not sure if that may be one of the reasons it stays up longer this way; back with the bfgminer proxy it would do the diff filtering on the miner software rather than the cube (I think... if I am wrong here please anyone feel free to correct me)

My cube came in today and it's acting a little weird. It'll go for about 6 1/2 minutes then the MH/s will slowly start to drop. BFGminer then declares it sick after 60 seconds of no response then it will come back. Doesn't matter what the clock is set to and besides this it looks good with no X's for any of the ASIC's. I tried replacing the cheap fuse it came with but that didn't seem to solve it either. Power supply is a Cooler Master i600 which claims 48A on the +12v rail and from my research that should be fine.
Check and see if you have any Android devices running on your network. I had the same problem and it would only happen when an Android device connected to my wireless router.
Great discussion! I have learned alot about this cube I just got and am trying to get setup. My problem is that my router is a Netgear WNDR3400v2 and every device on my home network has an IP address something like 10.0.0.1 and to make matters worse when I am on the status page of the router it recognizes all the devices on the network with the exception of the cube. Anyone else have experience with the Netgear network?

Best solution is to game your Netgear router to 192.168.1.1. If you have any devices on your network with static addressed, you will need to change them to the new gateway range. I all your devices are dhcp, one little change and you're done.
Alternately you could change the ip address of the cube, but the simple solution is just to change the gateway address of the router.
My netgear router is also set to 10.0.0.1 and my cubes are set to 10.0.0.81 - 84 and work just fine. Usually netgear routers will change their IP address from 192.168.1.1 to 10.0.0.1 if they are behind another router on the network to prevent any conflicts. You can always hit the factory reset on the router if you want or manually change it back if you would like.

I purchased a ASIC Block Erupter Cube from this company for $1800 about a month ago and the cube is defective. I has not worked since the day I got it. I have 3 other cubes that have been working great that had been purchased from a different company. I have sent multiple support emails through their web site trying to get the issue taken care of and they do not respond back. Has anyone else had any issue with them? Also does anyone know where I can get a replacement main board for the cube. The Cube will run from anywhere from 1min - 45 min then one of the two power ports turns off. I have tried multiple power supplies with no change. I have looked around on the forums and tried everything other then adding a bigger capacitor inline with the power plug, I have not done that because I am not sure what exactly they mean and I can not find any photos of it done.
Hi, Id be willing to take a screwdriver to it, if its running but failing it could be a hotspot / dry joint on the board somewhere.Open it up, test one board at a time, push lots of air at it and watch the temps.
I have tried everything. I actually found the problem, there is some issue you with the fan. I hooked up a small fan and it turns on and runs fine. So I went and got a brand new replacement fan and the problem is back. I have to hook the small fan up and leave it out of the erupter cube case, I installed the new fan and also ran the power wire out of the side of the case to the power supply. so far so good the block has been running for over 10 hours now. I have also found out that not only do android phones cause an issue with the Cubes but so do the google chrome books. If I have my cell phone or the chrome book connected to the wifi the cubes wont hash more then 1-2 GH if that.

Thats good to know. 30 kbps is nothing. Is it normal to connect the cube to the wireless router, or does it have to be on the modem (I have a cable connection and am connecting my cube to the wireless router).
Definitely sounds like you have enough power.
I have mine connected to my wireless router, too. Are you having any problems with other devices while the Cube is on?
Some people reported that turning off the WiFi on their Android phones helped fix problems with their Cube. It's worth a shot...
I have been having some issues off and on with my CUBEs. I have 4 total and all of them would work great for a long period of time then out of no where start having problems and only running at about 4 GH. I came across this post and checked all of my cell phones. The one older android cell phone my little one uses to play on and watch netflix on was connected to the wifi. Once i powered the phone off my hash rates went back up and seem to be working again. both stratum proxys ( BFGminer and Slushpool ) both seem to be working again also. I by passed this issue by running a second wireless router to keep my wireless devices separated.
I am using the slush pool proxy and having the same problem, my cube will run from any where from 5min - 1.5 hours then the relay kicks off and the power to the board turns off. The power to the fan stays on. I have tried two brand new power supplies. 1 thermaltake smart 750m and a corsair rm850. same issue with both power supplies. I also have not been able to find any information on firmware updates or any type of fix for this issue. Have you found a fix for yours yet?

Ok I have been looking all over the net for some answers and can t find any. I am hope someone can help out with this issue.

I have set up my Cube and have it running over the slush pool proxy. The cube will power up and run anywhere from 2 min - a few hours and then out of no where it sounds like a relay kicks off. On the back of the Asic Cube there are two green lights for power. when the relay kicks off one of the green lights turns off along with the network connection and status light. Then I turn off the power supply and then back on, it will then run again for a bit and just stop again.
When I first got the cube it worked with no issues for a day or so and if i remember right I started having the issue after I click on the clock button to set the over clocking. I thought it may be the brand new thermaltake power supply so i went and got a new corsair and its having the same problem.
I have done a factory reset on it and re set the ip settings and have it working with the slush proxy again but no change. the cube still kicks the relay or something. You can hear it click just like when you first turn in on.
Please help.
