I dunno the top. I'm not a master Yoda =) Usually I see the signs of top in technicals (but actual top of course will be some time later signs). Those signs still absent.
For example, some time ago I said current candle is RIP. And price dump was two days later.

It is my conviction that when we see at least two+ consecutive days from the current rally make it to the top 10 differentials list, the top is in.
It has been the case the last few bubbles and it will probably be the case again.
I wonder if there is an indicator for the differential from the previous day.

Top spotting is actually quite easy. StochRSI, AO, Fisher, MACD, E waves will all line up, and forum posts will have exclamation marks. Lots of exclamation marks.
If I was a smart operator with a ton of money I might be thinking of priming a litecoin bubble by smashing the Gox Bitcoin price low, then when gox takes on ltc, fire up a rally and sell into the fever of litecoin being better than bitcoin. Litecoin will be very attractive to people late to the game. As long as they perceive litecoin to be as robust as bitcoin, 100 litecoins sounds better than 3.5 bitcoins.

Of course there remains the possibility of a similar situation to August 2012. This situation would take BTC on a rally to 180 and then a flatline.
However, note that this activity occured when the price of BTC was close to the all-time logarithmic trend line.
Also, November was the block reward halving event. Thus this rally was further fueled by the halving of the BTC supply.
Given the current high price of BTC relative to changes in infrastructure, as well as the deviation from the logarithmic trendline and lack of block halving, this possibility remains very unlikely.

I took the 2011 bubble chart, overlayed it on the current chart to match the top, bottom, sucker's rally and resistance levels, and appended the extra portion to the current graph. Very simple TA but it has made me extravagant amounts of money so far.
In one month we shall compare the actual chart to this chart, and they might be very similar.
