WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW
Proof of Work

Wow been a while since I've seen a new version of Claymore coming out. Looks like V15.0 has been released for over about a day and only about 20 posts followed the launch. This is actually pretty low compared to the good old days of 2017 where whenever Claymore released a new version usually about 5-10 pages would happened in the following hours after the launch. His ZEC miner was also pretty popular during those days.

Its sad to see GPU mining going downhill where many people have moved onto something else. Really hoping that ETH devs do something and get ProgPOW added to the Q1 2020 fork and we might see a comeback of miners.

But right now in my area, I am getting barely a quarter a day of net profit with a single GPU. Sure wish the days of $1/day/GPU would come back.

Find a place with free power! I do about $1/day/GPU.

I have two machines with Rx570s in them, both 4GB.

One is Windows.. One is Linux.

The Linux version crashes with this error, but ONLY if export GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0..
if I set it to export GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=1, it works fine..?

Is this possibly a driver issue? Ubuntu 18.04.3, repo cl drivers

error:

v14.7:
- added "-showpower" option for stats about GPU power consumption, press "s" to see it. Both AMD and Nvidia cards are supported, except

Power consumption is not working for 1050Ti
The NVIDIA driver no longer reports this information on these cards.

Works fine for me as of 14.7.

Windows defender is also a cunt-fucker-asshole.

All my miners were singing fine for hours...then BAM OH ITS A VIRUS NOW KTHXBYE..

doesn't matter how many times I disable the fucker..time to initiate policy changes and permanently disable it..or switch to linux..

actually was only running windows because last time I downloaded ethminer 14.0 was avail for windows and the linux version was like 12 or something..so..

v14.7:
- added "-showpower" option for stats about GPU power consumption, press "s" to see it. Both AMD and Nvidia cards are supported, except

Power consumption is not working for 1050Ti

oddly enough the commandline parameter seems to do nothing (except maybe let you disable it?) as it seems to be enabled by default for me (at least on winfucksblows)

⭐ Merited by vapourminer (1)
so.. updated from 14.0 to 14.7.. I like how it shows watts for nv and amd now..

rtx2060 seems slightly faster on eth (maybe .2mh average, ~1mh/s peak faster, averaging 31mh/s peaking at 32, before was about 30.5mh average peaking at 31) ..but with the same dcri, was dualmining siacoin, dropped from 1300mh/s to 700mh/s ! upping it a bit doesn't affect anything.. so I can't say if this is a result of any optimizations or that the extra power is going to eth from sia

I was planning on dropping the dualmine anyway as it seems like all the dualmine coins are crap (any good suggestions?) and take forever to mine and aren't worth much.. on my rtx2060 it makes ZERO power difference or affect on eth hashrate (well maybe .2mh/s if I set my dcri right at the peak efficiency for both) to dualmine, so I didn't care..

on my 570s, dualmining takes it from like 130w to 180w !$# and kills my eth hash rate. not worth it at all! at least that was with 14.0, haven't tested it with 14.7 yet.

amd 570 4gb elpida isn't any faster with -straps 1 -rxboost 1 at the speed I was at before (1111mhz gpu 2050mhz mem) although I had a crash.. I think i'll stick with the straps they came with for now maybe as I didn't see an improvement. I'm sure if I was on stock bios I probably would've seen an improvement.

the cards were not stock flashed however..

just -rxboost and the straps that came with my cards (they were mining cards, came flashed from some dude, have no idea what he used but it's been stable/quick so what do I care?) brings me back to where I was able to peak previously (30.8mh@1200mhz/peakpower, now doing 30.8@1111mhz at reasonable power) so I guess there seems like an improvement there.

this is all just my observations after quickly testing with the new ver (31min so far on the longest running rig) lol

also.. 14.0 and 14.7 both show that my fans are at ~60% for the rx570s (they are at 57% and 61% respectively, they tend to move around these numbers a little though afterburner shows them locked at 100%?) .. they are at 100% in afterburner .. for teh 2060 it shows correct.

also.. it just crashed my system again on exit.. without straps this time, just rxboost..never did that before :/
