Summary:

Ambr is an architecture based on the DAG technology and the Casper protocol, and dedicated to providing a reliable operating environment for decentralized applications. Like an operating system on a computer, multiple programs can interact with each other or run on their own.

Technologically, Ambr has five highlights: multiple simultaneous account chains, as well as countless verification chains to complete Casper consensus and fee distribution; AVM virtual machines are designed to address DAG and smart contract consensus problem; the hierarchical consensus algorithm solves the problem by separating the transaction writing and confirmation using an algorithm, to ensure the high performance and scalability of the system; the Ambr chain protocol is designed to have unlimited transaction processing capability, with the introduction of the observer role to punish the malicious and ensure the interests of both parties in high-frequency transactions; Ambr also uses relay chain technology, which combines the scalability and Cosmos-compatibility of future blocks.

1.Ambr Team and Mission

1.1 Team

1.1.1 On the starting line, capital is critical for the young founder

In the field of blockchain, those born in the 1990s occupied half of the industry, and Jia Chao (Charles), born in 1995, is one of them. Charles had started to set up a campus forum while in high school, and at the age of 18, he was already in contact with Bitcoin. He devoted himself to the blockchain industry, delved into various computer technologies and trained himself to become a blockchain guru through hard work.

Over the past 5 years, the now 23-year-old Charles has participated in several projects, including the Dubai Future Blockchain Accelerator Project where he brought many benefits to the Dubai government. Throughout the 5 years in the industry, he also made a lot of friends in the circle, and is considered to be an elder in the blockchain circle. After accumulating a lot of experience, Charles determined that he wants to be a part of the future blockchain technology. So, in mid-August 2017, he refused the offer of the blockchain chief architect from 51 credit cards and started the Ambr project.

1.1.2 Gathering resources, the project requires lots of technical support

Ambr is a public chain and requires a lot of developers in the team to implement countless code. Until now, after multiple recruiting sessions, the team consists of talented members with more than ten years of development experience as Huawei and Dickson engineers. Plus, the winners of the fifth China Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award will help develop the startup. In addition, there are senior developers from famous universities such as the University of Waterloo, Penn State University, and Zhejiang University.

1.2 Mission

"We hope to achieve fast transmission of data while ensuring the security of these transmissions in the context of decentralization" - Ambr has been moving in the direction of high speed, security, and privacy.
Ambr expects to have an important place in the future of the public chain. Information flow has become a non-negligible part of individuals, businesses, and institutions. Allowing information to spread out in a safer form at a faster rate requires more in-depth exploration.

2. Main Innovations

2.1 Problem Overview

The internet, since its inception, has brought many benefits to every aspect of life, solving communication problems. The main problem blockchain aims to solve is the issue of trust using decentralization. Through the development of blockchain technology in recent years, it is easy to see that important centralization problems have not been solved well, and security is lacking. It is still difficult for people to trade without trusted intermediaries.

In the current public chain market, most of the platforms have insufficient performance, resulting in the slow development of DAPP. Moreover, developers are not motivated enough and the technical community is underdeveloped. This situation needs to be changed.

2.2 DAG+Casper+Cross-Chain

Compared with traditional blockchain projects, the use of DAG technology can bring greater throughput, because each address has its own account chain. Adding accounts in parallel does not affect performance, and after reviewing, using the Casper consensus, the fees will be distributed. This approach allows Ambr to combine powerful data processing capabilities with an absolute system security. The Ambr virtual machine is compatible with some of the features of EVM and is based on the ETH smart contract but made more efficient and practical. The issue of consistency between DAG and smart contracts has also been addressed. The Ambr account chain and the relay chain model are in perfect harmony, enabling Ambr to perform secure and fast transactions with other currencies. This cross-chain technology enables cross-chain transfers as well as multi-currency transfers in the chain.

2.3 Intra-chain Trading + Off-chain Trading

Ambr adds observers to the off-chain protocol. When establishing a channel, parties can choose an observer, at a small cost, to represent them when they are not online. Observer can guarantee the proof on the chain to ensure the interests of the party they represent. At the same time, to ensure the honesty of the channel users, if someone is determined to be malicious, said person will lose margins in all channels.

3. Applications

3.1 Instant Messaging

Ambr can create instant chat rooms based using its high data transmission throughput and high security performance. Ambr aims to build instant messaging applications based on smart contracts and will run on the Ambr public chain.

3.2 Instant Payment

In-game purchases sometimes have a series of problems caused by "time difference", that Ambr is designed to solve. The advantages of paying through Ambr are: (1) transparent transaction process: a permanent public record that cannot be tampered with and will not disappear; (2) high concurrency: able to ensure the entry and purchase of goods in a timely fashion. The program will eliminate a series of issues caused by time differences.

Zou jij me hier mee kunnen helpen?

Copper membership, intressant, ga dit even bekijken. Bedankt!

Re: What if there is a natural disaster, such as an earthquake?

we know if a country experiences a natural disaster, the economy will be temporarily paralyzed. because of the many damaged road access and also damaged buildings which caused the economic collapse and of course that made the country's economy go down. my question is, does it have a big effect on crypto state? we know that there is no need for a way to go, and a wide place for incapacity. but when a disaster occurs, it is likely that the signal will be lost and difficult to access. and if the recovery process takes place long after the disaster, how is the condition of Kripro that might occur?

I will be very happy with your opinion

I do remember seeing bitcoin mining farms being washed away by flashfloods.

Everything that is happening now in the cryptocurrency market is very similar to manipulation to lure even more money into this sphere.
We've been thinking of manipulation but have you read the reports that there's no manipulation? I'm not sure if I'm going to believe those reports that this is very normal although the market went through many rought times. And the last bull run showed that it was likely.
The market has still a very long time to recover until we see the price goes back on where we used to see it flying high.

In the internet marketing community people are already moving away from crypto :/

I think we'll see which coins are actually going to be used in real life, and which ones not.

Also,

Bitcoin has lost the number 1 spot on coinmarketcap, but the question is to who.

What are your thoughts?

You need to have at least a "Jr Member" rank to be able to post images. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0

If you really want or need to post an image, you can pay for a Copper member rank. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote

If you don't have any other questions, please lock this topic.

Thank you, I understand

So what is it I can do with that 250 AKYU in my account? I was already wondering where it came from hehe

Feels like a pump and dump coin with lots of promises. Dev just wants to get rid of coins.

Complete failure. Pack your backs. Go to another coin that can make you money.

The developer is dumping his coins. This project is a disgrace to the cryptocurrency community.

Lost all trust in this coin. Our lifes aren't a joke!

Really? Huh, being the developer and the fact that I have GIVEN AWAY my tokens to the entire network, sure does not seem like a likely statement that I am "dumping". I am one of the most visible and accessible altcoin developers in the world. Must be nice to just talk about what it "feels" like to you, and make it out to be truth. Who are you to say anything about this project, much less my intentions with it? You want to have an opinion, fine, but do not start talking truth unless you are willing to back it up with some hard knowledge or proof.

First of all, I am not "dumping" my coins. I cannot. I own less than 1% of the total market and have for several months. Why? Because I have been airdropping them on various networks, including the Autonio platform, where for one month I paid for the first 1,000 subscriptions by BURNING NIO tokens with a current value of over $250,000. I have also dropped (NOT SOLD, TRADED, or SWAPPED) a total of nearly 6 billion tokens and have spent my OWN money promoting, supporting, and developing these projects.

Second of all, anyone who looks at your account history knows what you are all about. You are the scam, my friend. So kindly move along before I make a nice lesson out of you. I have devoted my efforts and my very life to fighting for the very technologies that YOU make sound bad to the world to drop their price and give you a few more pennies in YOUR pocket, or because you have nothing better to do with your life than try to FUD people out of existence. Well you are barking up the wrong tree here, go on to the REAL scam coins.

Now, if you would like to go fully public with me, head to head, live on YouTube or some other social media site, I would love to. I have nothing to hide. We have been on local and regional news testifying at the Nebraska State Legislature in support of proper supportive legal protections and structures for these new technologies. Where have you been? What effort have YOU made to make this technology actually work for people. You stand in the shadows and pretend to be working for the people, and accusing others of falsehood, while operating under it yourself.

The simple fact that you are so completely unoriginal that you have literally copy/pasted your arguments to other, random cryptos tells me, honestly, everything a person needs to know about you, and your motivations. And the fact that you will never, ever allow yourself to face me publicly, much less actually utilize logic or evidence to prove your claims, helps me deduce even more about your character.

You sir, need to perhaps actually do some research before you try to attack any crypto. You made a big mistake. Now it is your choice to decide how you are going to use this information to remedy this mistake. Or you can make a bigger mistake and try to justify your actions.

Good luck to you.

I think you may be a nice guy when it comes down to it, but your disdain towards those who point towards fear, uncertainty and doubt comes off a bit too shameful. The epitome of your rhetoric paints you as a narcissist in my opinion.  I understand that you deeply believe in your project and in the end you definitely should be - especially since you are leading it, but this kind of behavior is juvenile. It may be wiser in your position to speak with unbiased facts rather than flaming and blasting any insult or criticism. In the end, just this sort of behavior alone is what would lead me to dump if i were holding or just avoid your project in general. Undecided
