I know already so many people are using bitcoins as usual currency but for me at least I have been playing around with it and trading
Some alt coins in exchange sites or just plain and stupid losing to eobot HO GM just to realize non of them are good for me but only good for them, but yes I haven't been able to turn bitcoin to my local currency and use for something which recently need for a lot of things the money I mean.

Most of us cannot use the bitcoin as a usual currency. Not many things can be bought by using the bitcoin.
Well It is now above 440+ and stable at 600+. After halving I do hope that bitcoin will reach the all time high and everyone to walk off selling their coins happily. Well let's just wait for it it will surely rise.

$550 to $600 could be the short term bottom for the consolidation phase. Then the bottom will move up.
GPU or ASIC...it makes no difference once the farms start mining. In Ethereum it only takes 3 of the major pools to make decisions on a specific fork for the entire network.

It's not the same. Bitcoin's blockchain is owned by China ASIC manufacturers. ETH PoW is available to anyone and uses off the shelf hardware. As long as it stays that way ETH will be as close to decentralization as it gets.
Ethereum mining is more decentralised than the bitcoin mining. But it will gradually centralise in cheap energy places.
That will happen to any PoW coins including bitcoin and the Ethereum. The cost of mining determines that.
I heard there are quite a few bitcoin farms in Iceland. The cost of electricity there is very cheap. The labor is more expensive.

The Bitcoin is about to go and reach 500 Dollars very soon. It has to happen with four weeks or so, if not then that means that the price is going to be stable or the halving is coming in and change things.

I have 5x R9 390 XFX cards. 137 MHz with 870W from the wall, so that is 6.35J /MH, that is better than the 970.

It was a crazy time GPU's were selling out due to miners... what did AMD do? They raised price.... and it still ran out for a while till it all kinda crashed.
This time with ETH is nothing like last time as far as effects on GPU sales. Just not the running out of cards as we saw long ago in the "old days".

This time, the price also rose. I bough at few nano at £379, a week later the price became £425. So it happened this time.
Still nothing compared to rates in "old day's" they jacked up like 50 percent at end if I remember right. And they still sold out. There were certain models of AMD they just could not keep in stock.
Just being able to log on and go to amazon/newegg and buy a GPU makes it far from different then "old days". Heck I watched newegg and newegg.ca the canada site for a while got in cards when other did not.
the difference is that it last longer last time, that's it i think, from doge late 2013 to summer 2014 now it's only few months in comparison, but ethereum is more profitable than doge ever was

The Bitcoin value is now $400+ but if the halving does come in the price is going to drop. The Bitcoins will then be cheaper and this can attract allot of people and may even convince them in buying Bitcoins. The hype is real, price is rising and at $467 now. Probably $500 by the end of the first week of May? It's real possible.
It is possible for the bitocoin price to be $500 in early May. But it is not good for the long term price action.

The price is still rising but it is not going as fast as I thought it would. But it will hit $500 soon enough, this will surely attract more people to come and use Bitcoin. The price of bitcoin is quite stable recently. I think after the recent stable period, its price will rise further.
Once eth moves to POS what do you guys plan on mining next?
decred is already on par with ethereum, and you have shift and expanse, which are good for your profit

of course price will rise to 450$ and even to 500$ soon, and yes, don't sell coins now, because you will kill this price rise and price of bitcoin will fall down, don't sell them unless they're really high, you will get more money that way too
The price rise to $500 will not be too soon, maybe in May or June with the expection of the block halving.
eventually surely bitcoin prices fell again, in quick time or even slow, but I think this month bitcoin will be stable in the price of $ 400 and above, maybe next month it will rise again and stabilized at the price of $ 450 and above
If the price can stay above $400 for the next month also, it is excellent news for it to be used as an investment.
Bitcoin (capital 'B') can not be an effective national currency nor should it become one.
If Bitcoin becomes a national currency, the government cannot print it easily. It has to earn it.

The banks made a lot of noises about bitcoin this year. They will implement it in the next year, 2016. There will be other adoption of bitcoin block chain technology as well.
