Thanks! I didn't want to bother their support after only a couple of days, just checking if they were active.

By the way I sent you a small tip for your help to Bitcoin Shower's donation address and I noticed that if you copy paste it, it comes out in all caps and doesn't work (I just copied it from blockchain instead), might want to change that!

Sorry for resurrecting this thread but I'm curious how long Bitmedia.io usually takes to approve new publishers. I applied a couple of days back and haven't heard from them since.

Thanks!

Thanks! But they have a minimum of 20$ and I'm just looking to sell around 15$ worth. If anyone knows of another service, I'd appreciate it.

Selling small sum of BTC for PP

I'm looking to exchange a really small sum, I tried with https://www.xmlgold.eu/ but it doesn't seem to be working. I'd really appreciate if someone could recommend another service.

Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: I'm looking to sell 0.1026 BTC and since there doesn't seem to be any service that will accept such a low amount, I'm willing to deal with another forum member. Please only reply or PM if you have a verifiable reputation.

I've seen it mentioned before on this thread that people outside of the US can still pay through Walmarts if they're available in their country, is this correct? Does anyone know if this would work in England within the ASDA stores? (Since they're a subsidiary of Walmart).

WTB RapidPro (Credit for Rapidshare)

Hi! I usually renew my Rapidpro through Bitmit monthly since there's a seller I've bought from several times there without problem, today though I'm in a bit of a hurry to get it reactivated and he usually takes around a day to send the Rapids to my account. So if there's anyone who could help me out quickly today, I need exactly 960 Rapids sent to my account, I've only done a couple of small deals on the forums so I'll be happy to send first to users with good "reputation" or use escrow.

Thank you in advance for your offers.

Sure, that's possible. I personally don't have the resources to set up a network and for my small purchases I've never needed to, also it's nearly impossible to find an official exchanger here, so it'd have to be done all through the black market or send bolivars and have them exchanged there. You're on the right track though, I've advised some friends with accounts overseas to simply use them to purchase coins and then use those to fund their purchases when convenient and people are still willing to send deposits or transfers to your foreign bank accounts for bolivars, but we also have restrictions on dollars for traveling purposes and have to get approved beforehand for them, so taking a trip to set up some accounts also gets complicated and I'm getting a headache just thinking about it.

It's usually possible to find someone who at least is willing to sell you LR online here (but never a lot) for bolivars though and then just exchange those. That's why I'm interested in helping out María, theoretically they'd already have a network set up and would know how to exchange their bolivars for whichever currency they prefer.

Sadly there isn't any similar system to the Boleto Bancario in place here. I'd say the only valid methods would be bank deposits, transfers, cash and possibly some sort of payment service via SMS or calls such as Dialcoin offers. Opening an organized exchange here could be an extremely profitable venture, there is a sizeable segment of the population that already turns to online currency exchangers to fund their online purchases, send money overseas, etc. so that's a huge pool of potential users right there.

In case anyone else is curious about our predicament, the problem is basically that currently there are no methods whatsoever to purchase Bitcoins directly here in Venezuela, there is a huge underground community of people doing black market exchanges because we have to jump through hoops to even get our "assigned" dollars in the first place, opening a foreign bank account is not an option for most people, we can't use money transfer services such as Western Union, etc. No one here knows about Bitcoins either though, but I'm sure they'd be a success in the only community where I do currency exchanges and would quickly take off for people who need money to do online purchases but don't have their own credit cards or they've already spent their yearly allotment.

Maybe this just isn't the right moment to think about "converting" them to bitcoins. Just get them a nice regular present and don't give them any unnecessary headaches. Afterwards just send a couple their way directly to one of their emails and explain how they can be used.

I'm not able to send any coins currently Sad I haven't tested receiving but every time I try to send something it proceeds as usual but my balance isn't altered, the transaction isn't shown on the list and no coins are received. What might be the cause of this error? I thought it'd be faster to post here directly instead of sending a support email.

EDIT: The problem was resolved through email, thank you very much Piuk!

Seriously, just avoid the hassle of dealing with Ebay and use https://www.spendbitcoins.com/convert/ I've used it several times to get money into my paypal and I haven't run into any problems yet. You most likely will get scammed or at least have to deal with paypal's resolution center (which is the most infuriating thing in the world) a couple of times even if you do get some successful transactions.
