Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics***

I am finding this whole experience with bitfury very annoying.

Glad to see that I am not alone.

I have only seen the H-cards run for a few minutes before the overheating starts.

I don't want to waste time with adding heatsinks, or fine tuning voltage. I just want these to hash.

I really think that pushing the default config for the h-cards to the bleeding edge of performance was a bad idea.

I have 6 BTC in pending sales. 4 BTC sale was due yesterday, 2 is due on Thursday.  This has already damaged my trust.

When I see this type of activity, I think ponzi.  I just hope that we all don't get screwed.

I just sent a support ticket(before seeing this thread), let's see what happens.

Yes, the date has been extended to June 1st, 2013.
Is there any way to purchase upgrades through the BFL website, or is there a different website for upgrades?

FYI, I noticed a couple of places that you refer to bit-pay.com, however the url changed to bitpay.com.

Yep, received payment.
The "will do auto payout more faster" you just said means you don't have auto payout, you do manual payouts every 6 hours.
It's fine for me anyway.
Received payment also.  I don't need instant availability of bitcoin either, just not getting ripped off is fine. FYI.

Excellent reject ratio, btw!

Thanks for the feedback,

And did you get stratum proxy to work?

Stratum is working, but giving warning messages. I'm not sure if these error messages would have a detrimental effect to share submissions...

FYI when using stratum proxy

2012-11-27 21:57:58,967 INFO proxy jobs.extranonce2_padding # Extranonce size mismatch. Please report this error to pool operator!

No problems when using getworks.

Which miner are you using?

CGminer 2.9.5 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.0 works fine with Stratum for me.
This message comes from the slush's stratum proxy..https://github.com/slush0/stratum-mining-proxy

I was using cgminer 2.9.5 with the --fix-protocol parameter to connect to slush's stratum proxy, then I just pointed the proxy to btcoxygen.com.
I just tried to connect to my own pool with slush's proxy and everything worked well.

Just try again and see if you face the same error.
I actually deleted my current stratum then rebuilt from git.  I get the same error.  It is exactly like gr0bi42.

When are the automatic payouts done?
Been over my Threshhold for some time now.
I don't like mining at a new pool when payments are sketchy. I've been mining over 15 hours without payments being activated.  Approaching almost triple my minimum threshold. So time to take a break.

We do auto payouts every 6 hours.

And Will do auto payout more faster as more users come in.
Well, I should have already been paid -- twice. It really does not matter what you say, I need to see bitcoin sent to the wallet or it didn't happen..

Re: Anyone with a lot of MH/s want to fork the TerraCoin chain?
by
fred0
on 06/11/2012, 18:46:58 UTC
TerraCoin doesn't really change anything in the bitcoin chain except for the block rate and diff retarget rate.  I don't think it serves any useful purpose except as a pump n' dump scheme.

It doesn't matter if it gets 51%'d now or not, it'll be dead in a month due to merged mining anyway.

It's a pointless fork.
It's actually worse than pointless, since the addresses used start with a 1 the same as bitcoin.  This is something that the creators of the other alternate chains did not mess up!  A terracoin address is not easily identifiable as a terracoin address.
