Re: Be calm when the market falls
by

Investing crypto's are highly risky business especially if you don't know how to handle emotions. At the start of entering this type of business.. it is necessary to educate our self first about possibilities may happen to our investment. Remember ones you put your money at risk.  There were two things may happen either you win or lose.. Don't expect something big may happen at very start of your journey... because for how many stories I read about crypto's, it requires patient to overcome your goals..
Market usually falls but in the other day it will bounces back.. Better stay to be calm and wait because surely it will recovers.

Re: Weak Hands lose money, strong hands makes profits in this game!

Well maybe newbies really need to learn from their mistakes to know when to sell and hodl their bitcoins. If they experienced failure and mistakes from their own actions, they will be able to learn from that mistake and  from that day on, they will surely know how to handle their coins, and maybe, they will also buy coins instead of selling their coins to earn more profit.
Trade in different way, Treat short term trades as binary options, Other traders are trying to capture a move, but instead you are trying a defined bet. When you have a bad trade don't close it immediately but instead set a random timer to automatically close the trade within a defined but short period of time.Try random delays for entries as well. If a trade does'nt work out within a define time, close it out It probably was'nt a good price or opportunity if its still available after some time.

Re: Can a deflationary currency really work?
by
fredo123
on 26/08/2018, 19:02:43 UTC
There will be much less possible cost-effective investment projects. The economy will shrink.
Deflation causes the prices of goods and services to drop, So the more the currency deflates the less the reward for the people producing goods and services. The demand will decrease and this will lead to an economic crises. People would stop spending money and start hoarding it. Why buy something now if it will be less expensive tomorrow? Unemployment would become rampant.

Re: Does Bitcoin affect world trade?
by
fredo123
on 26/08/2018, 18:56:28 UTC
I think bitcoin (or its variant) that would have a very important role to play in international trade, once we are past this friend or foe phase with governments, financial institution and regulators that we are going through. When economists, bankers and the regulators can agree on the importance of a worldwide cryptocurrency like Bitcoin - trade will change.
Bitcoin was forged in the fires of economic uncertainty, It was created in direct response to the shortcomings of the traditional financial system. It makes sense then that any event that highlights the potential vulnerabilities of a national currency also tends to magnify the strengths of a borderless currency such as bitcoin.

Re: How to regulate crypto?
by

on 25/08/2018, 17:28:52 UTC
I think the regulation of cryptocurrency will help countries in diverse angles. The government is various countries will get to know more about crypto and clear all misconceptions about crypto.
Uncertainty at this point, may be what is holding bitcoin back. But since bitcoin is global. Its going to be a a patchwork of regulations depending on where you live.

Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?
Regulatory clarity is is arguably the single most important issue facing bitcoin right now. Increased adoption should lead to an increase in bitcoin price, and many businesses and consumers are reluctant to adopt bitcoin because of negative headlines and the currency's uncertain regulatory status.

Re: How to cope up with the falling prices?
by
fredo123
on 21/08/2018, 13:54:14 UTC
It is asked so much but there is only answer for me: hodl! you can do something else as well but the best way to survive is hodling. Sometimes even hodling may not be useful, you must lose everything to come back stronger sometimes  Smiley
Falling prices, People like low prices, Cheap is good isn't it? What matters is what causes deflation. Deflation is a symptom, not a disease Just as a rosy complexion can be a sign of health or of a fever, deflation can be a sign of underlying economic strenght or weakness. Falling prices can arise from too much supply can often be a good thing. while having too little demand is almost always bad.

Re: will decentralised exchanges be the future ?
by
fredo123
on 21/08/2018, 13:30:10 UTC
A decentralized trading platform can limit the risk of losing money to investors because the capital remains in your wallet, not your wallet. However, the limitation is that order matching and processing speed are not as fast as those of binance, bittrex.
Trading cryptocurrencies is a risky business, but there is no reason that traders should face risks other than those they are already willing to take. The blockchain community understand this problem and several entrepreneurs are taking it upon themselves to create what they believe will be the future of trading. Decentralized Exchanges. The central idea here is that traders should remain custodians of their funds.

Re: Trading or mining?
by
fredo123
on 21/08/2018, 13:10:45 UTC
both of these do have a big risk, but there is a difference between the two. I suggest before you choose one of the mining and trading you should have understood some advantages and advantages of doing so and we know that doing mining is in need of a large initial capital.
Here are advantages of bitcoin mining over buying bitcoins,
* Bitcoin mining allows their user's keep a track of their transactions, The bitcoins are untainted.
* There is no extra fee that is charged for acquiring the coin apart from the investment in hardware (this itself may be substantial though.)

Once we actually establish that regulation, the professional players that are going to be entering the market and that have already going to continue and they're going to get that support from the regulatory environment that they have been looking for.

Re: Know Your Customer
by
fredo123
on 20/08/2018, 13:38:35 UTC
Does that mean that if one participates in an ICO and puts in over $3,000, that gets reported to the government?

Once you join and ICO with a KYC it will be reported to the government,i think they pass all the participant after the ICO,i dont know about the law but some countries are banning its citizen from joining ICO.

Or if you move $3,000 out of an exchange, that gets reported?

Weather you move your funds or not once you join the ICO the government has the info on your transaction, this is their way of tracking their citizen who can potentially be evading taxes.

As long as KYC/AML continues with current methods of ID verification, all these problems are likely only going to get worse, Because none of the procedures are scalable, an increase in customer can have a significant downside for some banks, For instance, if the number of customers at a bank doubled. KYC requirements could caused them to wait six to eight weeks to get use of their accounts.

Re: Can Amazon Integrate Bitcoin?
by

For the moment I don't think they are interested to implement bitcoin as payment.

Amazon should show continued leadership in innovation by eagerly accepting two of the most trusted and proven cryptocurrencies in existence, Bitcoin and Litecoin. It continues acceptance and intelligent integration of these efficient and grond breaking payment methods will lead to more streamlined commerce and an improvement in the purchasing experience for the many millions who shop Amazon.

Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover?
by
fredo123
on 19/08/2018, 11:48:16 UTC
We all know this year is one of the worst year of crypto, market is dead and new investors are in fear to enter,  My portfolio is 75% down as compare to January. How long this market will take time to recover?. I am stacked in holding.
The recovery process takes months or years until the market gets investors trust back. I do not believe that the market will recover in short term  and i consider every spike we have now as temporary bounce. The chart trend is very bearish and we need large trading volumes to break this bearish trend which we don't have them for now.

Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages
by
fredo123
on 05/08/2018, 10:08:13 UTC
Those are nice articles, but please, stop posting those links in here because it is pretty obvious that you want to increase the traffic of your site.

Or at least, quote what is in there and post it in here to avoid the spam.

Cryptocurrencies ensure that transfer of funds between business or people is safe and exceedingly easy. Private and public keys are utilized to ensure transactions are safe and transference fee's for funds are kept at a minimum low. Block chains are online ledgers and people can transfer them through computers ensuring that others are honest. This makes transactions transparent since different people can verify them.
DISADVANTAGES,
-Cryptocurrencies are backed by computers and maths as opposed to other currencies that have precious metals to back the.
-There are no physical notes and coins to represent the currency and therefore no central repository making it hard to recover any balance in case of a system crash.
- Cryptocurrencies experience a lot of fluctuation and this can lead to the market being volatile meaning that a lot of money can be lost or gained within a short period.

Re: Bitcoin cannot be a global currency

Of course, Bitcoin can be a world currency. However, Bitcoin is not valid in all countries. But seeing the popularity of Bitcoin,it will be the world currency for a time.Only the bitcoin has been known in all the countries, which could not make any other coins.Everywhere they are Bitcoin, world Currency Will be.
[/q
Bitcoin may not become a universal world currency but i can guarantee you that a cryptocurrency and not a central gov't based fiat currency may become a universal world currency. The technological advancements brought by Bitcoin and the innovation in the crypto/blockchain field is still in its early years but is laying out the foundation for groundbreaking discoveries to occur in the future.

Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk?
by
fredo123
on 04/08/2018, 11:36:42 UTC
There are always risks in business and if you want to make BIG gains then you'll have to take BIG risks too. In last few months, Bitcoin hasn't moved much up or down after the January's hype and dump. So I don't think engaging in Bitcoin puts us at any risk.
No one can generate profits consistently, Intermittent and extended losses are part of the trading game, for ex. a day trader may suffer eight loss making trades in a row and only recover with profit on ninth trade. to handle these risk, a day trader must have a sufficient cushion of capital, traders needs also a solid foundation of knowledge about how markets function.
