hmmm it doesnt really matter if a woman made it or not, to me its important to honour that person(s) creation and how it really changed the world's view on banking

Thanks for the replies so far everyone, been looking at online courses so far and I am keen to get stuck in. I have been meaning to pick up coding and Python 3.5 is my choice, what IDE would people recommend for this?

With Python I can recommend both Pycharm and sublime text, both can be used fully for free

I sure can! Just getting onto 16 footers but well I haven't been playing recently cuz I havent got the monies to do so and well the machines are not in great condition but there is someone who does check up on it and raises the pads every now and then

Oh that's a shame, I totally recommend that you should build up your 170+bpm stamina 200bpm becomes just a bit more normal from 16+ ><

I'll keep that in mind man, been watching a lot of BMS (Beatmania Simulator) videos...

ahhh....wish I can get to this level soon TT I can only play up to 10 star Cry

EDIT

Our american player .PHASE is live now!

Oh wow, what an interesting stream...definitely have not seen this rhythm game before! Feel like donating Smiley

Yeah I think subreddit would be ok. I mean if someone in the community wants to manage a slack I think the devs wouldnt mind, just dont expect them to come on for idle chat. Subreddit would be good though.

Well, I wouldn't mind doing that at all Smiley

I recently read fivver secured 60 million dollars in funding to implement Bitcoin into their site. So I think your really onto something here. Will be nice to see if you can beat them to the punch on that one! As a freelancer I look forward to joining Bithire. I will keep an eye out for progress. Best of luck!

Bitcoin is already implemented in fiverr. It has been implemented for a while now.

Im pretty sure their partnership incurs heavy fees, something like 10% charge and 20% seller fee or whatever.

I would say Bithire should stick with lower fees and also allow tailor made rates. Freelancers always need more outlets of exposure so I do think this project can work well. I would also like to see a little bit of focus on supporting crypto freelancers - the forum is full of fraud devs. BitHire could help build public profiles for legitimate devs and services.

Oh wow, just read this and I am totally with you. Aside from referrals, there is no other way to completely verify crypto devs and services other than by referral through the community, I guess this platform can really cater to "cryptolancing" in that manner?

Is there any plan to get this coin listed on any of the major exchanges?

Yobit normally list the newer stuff, might be worth hitting them up.

Yobit is hardly a major exchange.. I would say go for Poloniex, Cryptsy, Bittrex and C-CEX. Yobit and EmpoEX are fine but I think their platforms are quite small.

Yes, I agree with you.  Cryptsy and Bittrex are best ones.

Oh this is just as I thought Smiley Yeah go for these 2 for sure, I am sure they can see the potential in this Smiley

When are the MAC wallets ready? I really can't stand the PC, get us mac wallets and you've sold me again.

I second this, most of the freelancers I know own and work on a mac lol

Yes i'm a MAC user too, but I dual boot with Windows which is currently the only way i'm staking coin.

We do have a MAC wallet on the way, so you guys don't have to worry about that! It's just taking a bit longer because of the other stuff we have to do for now. But mac users, we have not forgotten you!

You sure that you dnt need to hire someone to make mac wallet? Wink

easily can be done with the faucets that are available out there, can just probably blaze out faucets with a payout rate of every 15-mins to an hour and be guaranteed 10,000 sats in the matter of 2 hours or so

Damn, forgot that I left my moonbit faucet on for a couple of days....hmmm...4167 in 80 hours isnt that bad i guess...halfway there nearly Smiley

Re: Feature that should be added

Under file it should have "Write offline transaction" and "Put offline transaction online" or something along those words.  Already has sign/verify message, sweet feature.

maybe a donation to pay for their time would sway them to divert resources away from security and onto user-friendly.

Really Franky .... We should not encourage bribery as a method to influence Bitcoin development  Wink Or should we sell out to the highest bidder, when crappy ideas pass their table?

spazzdla - The whole idea with a online network, is to process transactions on the fly on the Blockchain in real time.. If you want to do that, rather go for a off-chain solution like Xapo, where you can do as many

transactions as you want, and only pay a fee when it goes on-chain.  Roll Eyes

My issue isn't fees it's security.  I don't want to type my passprhase on an online computer.  I will look into Xapo though.

I personally recommend it but using the debit card will incur fees, so just use it as a wallet and vault if needs be only if ur looking for a secure place to store BTC

Yeah I think it is like something like a 3% charge if you pay for transactions outside of the currency that the card is set too e.g. paying for goods in USD with the card set in GBP. There is also a fee just for withdrawing money from an ATM; furthermore there is an annual charge for the card too Sad

I just wish that there was a BTC debit card that incurred  no fees at all or even just charging 1 sat for a withdrawal or something instead of something in fiat

Re: Why Satoshi Nakamoto WON'T win a Nobel Prize
by

I dnt think that it is possible to actually award nakamoto, could be a rule against that. Furthermore, if it was actually a group of people, only 3 of the group (if bigger than 3) can be awarded for the same thing; there would need to be some establishment of hierarchy. Take for example, Rosalind Franklin who took pictures of the structure of DNA that was published on nature's publication but was not awarded the nobel prize since her job was only taking data, a bit harsh for a rule eh?

Re: Bitcoin accepting bars in Pittsburgh, PA?
by

on 16/10/2015, 05:36:53 UTC
In my opinion, it would be unusual if bars do accept bitcoin since a majority would be paying in cash anyway and its convenient if they have a constant supply of notes and coins for change. It would take quite a long time just to pay a drink with a card and well yes, keeping this in mind with bitcoin it is quicker. Would be cool if there was some altcoin that allowed someone to build up a tab to pay later before leaving the bar lol

There should be a feature in bitcoin that allows to have confirmations fast like in case of dogecoin.

Agreed, confirmations usually take within the region of 30 mins up to an hour if things are slow especially when u want to take advantages of trading within the BTCUSD pair and u think something its about to pop, would definitely benefit me hehehe Wink

I dnt think that the use of bitcoin as a consumer is complicated at all, it only gets complicated if one chooses to go deeper through trading or even trying to make an altcoin

Just a quick question, as a freelancer myself (web development) I am completely new to a bitcoin based platform for work opportunities. What kind of advantages would I have being part of this from the freelancer side of things? And also on this platform specifically is there any kind of rating/recommendation system that helps me being recommended to other people looking to hire?

This I would like to know the answer to as well, I am concerned about the faith that freelancers would have in it as a lot of the freelancers I personally know are concerned about things like commission etc
