What's going on with the autoexchange feature?
I had some Monero, I autoexchanged them to Litecoin they are debited, but no credit in Litecoin? Just gone...  Angry

Is there any technical problem with the autoexchange feature? Are we going to lose our credits?

me too on ethereum
the ethers was on exchange  2:44 AM my local time
then it became 0  6:05 AM my local time
the ether balance and BTC is the same without any raise
does it tack some time?
it is not much ethers but it is the ideas where they are gone?

Thanks
Mego

Autoexchange coins are gathered in one big pool before moving on the the exchanger then distributed among people. I'm not sure how often the coins go the exchanger. But during that, on exchange coins will disappear from your balance. It will come back as your desired coins once exchanging is complete, if not, it will come back as what it is, waiting for next exchange round.

You might see it come an go for serverl hours before exchange complete.

TBH, would be better if we don't have to see it popping in and out on our balance. Really startling for new users like me, worried i might have done something wrong.

I´ve set my MPH to "auto exchange" to Ethereum and awesomeminer to "auto switch" and mine for the coins with the highest profit.

Let´s say awesomeminer is mining for Monacoin, do I still have to have a Monacoin wallet and put the adress of it into MPH or is MPH going to auto exchange them into ETH without me having a Monacoin wallet?

Mined coins are stored in MPH's wallet. If you autoexchange everyting to ETH, you only need ETH wallet for cash out.

Hi guys,

May I ask why all of my vertcoin balance is moving to Credited for exchange instead of Credited? I'm using MPH for like 2 days. I used autoexchange feature for monacoin like 1 hours to see how it is performing then undo my changes. But now newly mined vertcoins are showing in Credited for Autoexchange column (Other coins are fine they just act like they are supposed to do).

Thanks.

Sometimes I have to redo changes in AE page twice to make it work correctly. You can move mined coins from Credited for AE to Credited. Goto your coin's wallet you'll the transfer box. But it takes quite a while to transfer coins and you might have to repeat your oder a few times though.

Coins already on their way to exchange cannot be tranferred.

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know how we can prevent MultiPoolMiner from downloading/benchmarking *some* miner. I can't seems to finish the benchmarking for Equihash, it always crash at some miner near the end while I could use the 2 first that worked great.

Thank you.

Remove those miner's .ps1 or .txt files from \Miners folder. Then start MPM again. (don't forget to make backup too, you might need them later).

GTX 1080, hashrate 53mh/s in excavator miner, but I assumed 50mh/s for theoretical calculations (see whattomine on my link above).

By the way - it's minor in this case, hovewer 1MH/s = 1024*50 or 1000*50?

mh/s to kh/s is *1000

I think 1024 thing is for storage (ram, hdd, etc) ...pretty confusing.

I'm using the 1060 hash rate about 24.35. Whattomine said I'd get 0.159/day. Whatimine is around 0.143 - 0.129 mona/day

At 1st set "Auto Exchange" to BTC.
At present time don't have enough for withdrawal.

Now changed to "Auto Exchange" to LTC.
Too soon to see any LTC.

Question - those BTC that have already been "Auto Exchanged", can they be "Auto Exchanged" to LTC?  Or do I need to let the BTC balance get large enough to make a withdrawal?  I.e.  so that the 0.0003 BTC fee isn't the same as my balance?

There's no menu on BTC wallet to move credits to auto exchanged. I think BTC are for withdrawal only.

Hi, how are you viewing your hashrate on the pool? I've just starting mining lyra2v2 and wanted to check it's working ok.

Sorry if this is such as n00b question, I've checked the MPH FAQ, my balance page is blank, and am out of ideas  Huh

For hash rate, look at the left menu, click on the coin you are mining then click on dashboard.
Total balances update is kinda slow. Account information on each coin's dashboard is much faster.

Nice job! Now google: "average"

Bit harsh with the dig at the end; he did a good job and actually highlights a lot of peoples misconceptions.

Long-term losses are another issue and are usually a problem with the miner actually submitting shares and/or invalid ones.

Maybe it's because of me. The PS part might made him think I was being sacrastic. Which was not my intention. I was trying to point what to search in case anyone would like to know more.

English isn't my first language. My apology.

Hi all,

Very new to MPH. Looks like great pool and great work gone into this site.

Question - how do i see what coin is mined at any point in time? As it switch i can see the miner being used but where can i see what coin is being mined?

Thanks in advance.

Think i found my answer based on the portnumbers and list from main page?

Yeah, you can look from the port number. If you're using MPM you can see from its console or log too. It's something like this.

Regarding the pool hash rate:

I've been looking up on google about it and the answer is pool hash rate is the number your miner submitted in that time interval. If your miner found lots of share, hash rate on the dashboard will go up. If it found fewer shares, it will go down.

The number whattomine.com and what your miner report are striaght calculation. With (X) hashrate you'll get (Y) result.
The number on your miner is what your GPU is doing.

For me, sometimes half, sometimes 100% or sometimes even 150% of what my miner says.

Short version

Pool Hashrate = Rate of the shares you found and submitted to the pool.
Miner Hashrate = How good your GPU is doing.
Est. profit on whattomine and MPM = Straight calculation 10x10=100. But it can't tell if you'll find a share or not.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wong. Smiley

PS. You can look up on google with "pool hash rate is lower than xxxminer" there's a lot of discussions on this.

Also, not using the auto switches does have a disadvantage- when a particular pool switches off of an algo or coin, there is a rapid decrease in that pool's hashpower. With said decrease, the block win rate decreases too. So even though you might proportionally get more of each found block, blocks are found less often and the total profitability may not be any better than just using the auto switches.

Thank you for reminding me about pool's hashpower decrease. I really didn't think about that. As for the exchange, mine is set to BCH since my local currency exchanger accept it too. Else it would took forever to collect enough BCT to be able to withdraw, not to mention the TX fees.

I'm not a serious miner...yet. Want to try it first. See what's what before moving to serious investment. For now, I want to get some money back for my 1060 Smiley

Hello,
I am a new user of MPM with MPH.
The estimated profitability by MPM is 0.00052 BTC/day. I waited 3 days to get a fair estimate but it shows 0.00087 BTC in my balance( auto exchanged to BTC ). It is about half of the estimated profitability. Is it normal? Am I doing something wrong? I followed the readme instructions.
Thanks

Hi, I'm new too and been mining on MPH for 5 days. I could be wrong but this is what I've observed.

Are you using auto profit switching? For me I found that focusing on mining one coin/day is better. You'll get your share when the pool found the block. MPH seems to switch often these days (thanks to the fluctuation of bitcoin price).

For each coins, the pool may solved 10 blocks+ per hour, or solved only 4 blocks or less per hour depend on luck. In a worse case, it could be just only one block or none. If your MPH happened switched to its coin of choice during "bad time" you'll get less profit.

You can check block stat on each coin's statistic.

I would say, better choose your coin manually if you do not have powerful rig. Last night I tried autoswitch for just curiosity, the thing switched to FTC 7 times during last night, spent 3 hours in total to mine FTC (average 25 min per switch) and all I got was only 0.4 FTC.
