Re: My bank account's got robbed by European Commission. Over 700k is lost.

More of this shit is coming to a bank near you.

European Union states are considering measures which would allow them to temporarily stop people withdrawing money from their accounts to prevent bank runs, an EU document reviewed by Reuters revealed.

The move is aimed at helping rescue lenders that are deemed failing or likely to fail, but critics say it could hit confidence and might even hasten withdrawals at the first rumors of a bank being in trouble.

The proposal, which has been in the works since the beginning of this year, comes less than two months after a run on deposits at Banco Popular contributed to the collapse of the Spanish lender.

Riker, one of core devs, posted this update today.

Quote from: Riker
Getting closer to the Ardor testnet release but still some way to go.
The server code is nearly complete and the APIs are mostly stable.
Still some lingering issues with decimal conversions which we are about to fix soon.

Most of the work will now focus on getting the client UI ready for release. Lot's of small details to take care of.
In order to keep you informed, I would like to start posting regular updates about our progress and start crossing out the tasks from the list below until we ready for release.

Here is a list of remaining tasks which we would like to complete before the official release:
- More work on the Coin Exchange page and tables
- Prefix each MS currency name with the name of the chain to which it belongs
- Ability to link from a child chain transaction to the ChildChainBlock transaction in which it was bundled
- Improve the entity properties modal to support entities like orders and offers
- Format amounts and links in the entity properties modal
- Test and fix currency reserve/claim tables and modals
- Remove child chain specific widgets from the Ardor UI
- Reomve Ardor specific widgets from the child chain UI
- UI for the new "by holding" dividend modal
- UI for the "by holding" dividend history

In addition we also need to double check the UI of the following modules for problems caused by the mode to per chain entities:
AE
MS
Messages
DGS
Voting
Cloud Data
Aliases
Phasing
Account Control
Leasing
Account Properties
Account Monitor

1 ARDR is currently worth 3.7 NXT on the built-in fully decentralized asset exchange:

Risk of the decentralized exchange goxxing you, insider trading against you is ZERO.
To trade you need a NXT client https://nxtforum.org/nrs-releases/nrs-v1-11-2/

A few quotes just made today by JeanLuc, core dev.

Quote from: Jean-Luc
A017. 2015-07-28. Allow AE issuer use Asset to make dividends payment in another Asset.
A006. 2015-06-16. Allow AE issuer use MS to dividends payment.

Those two are already implemented in Ardor.

Quote from: Jean-Luc
Ardor fees from child block transactions are split back in 1:1:1:1 ratio with the previous 3 block forgers.

Quote from: Jean-Luc
Of course the AE is being developed, it is one of our most important components. One major improvement is that the limitation on number of decimal places is gone, but this required changing the way order prices are defined, they are now in NQT per share of the asset instead of NQT per QNT.

Next is allowing editable asset descriptions and increasing number of shares, this may be done after testnet launch though.

Slow climbed back to 0.00002 BTC. Devs working their asses off, investors getting FOMO.
The high on Poloniex was 0.00003 but the first day of trading when someone broke the chart on purpose or by mistake. The low was 0.00001, right now the price is exactly in the middle in BTC terms, and very close to the high in USD terms.

Noob question, I picked up some NXT as well as Ardor. In terms of forging, does it forge when I'm offline or do you need to be logged in to be able to forge?

Start NXT, log in with your passphrase to enable forging, close the browser, but leave NXT running - the account will be forging.

buy ardr with nxt or buy ardr with btc? i am still not sure what i shall do with my NXT. whats your advice?

There are still months to go before the snapshot, its better to trade some of it, the volatility is good after the BTC drama

Has that snapshot not already occured for ARDR though. There is another NXT snapshot but that is to receive IGNIS and that will take place in Q3 2017?

Yes.

Good job Roger Ver, it looks like SegWit has absolutely no chance at all of getting anywhere near 95%.  I doubt they will ever get over 50%.

SegWit is not Bitcoin.  SegWit is an altcoin.

I feel it is my duty as a concerned citizen and valuable contributor of the Bitcoin community to declare SegWit dead on arrival.

All Bitcoin Judas accomplished was FUDing a perfectly reasonably and innovative soft fork, which is foundational to future scaling, into a controversial object of drama.

Let's all congratulate him on getting kicked off Reddit for brigading, doxing, and monetizing his subreddit.

SegWit is a controversial contentious fork which half of the community don't want to subscribe to. Blaming and crucifying Ver for SegWit not happening is finding a scapegoat.

To all you fucktards criticising SegWit and LN so why don't you come up and propose alternative solutions to Bitcoins problems? Because it has serious problems on the horizon. Not least because of fucktards like yourselves sitting behind your keyboards moaning.

Wow.. I never thought I 'd say this (don't usually see you in this part of the world-as-we-know-it)... but I agree with MineCache.. {weird feeling}

( Although I choose not to use profanity.. you silly-billys.. )
