this numbers were at TV. TV it s always right

LOL. I am from Germany and statistics are all over the internet stating that it's only 30-35%. It would be too damn stupid to make yourself dependent of a country by 80%.

The numbers you saw are that Germany needs to import 80% of gas and oil to satisfy domestic demand, but not that they import 80% from Russia.

guys do not forget.RUSSIANS they are still there with a lot of gas and petrol.the war from ukrainr will stop in 2-3 years.Russia will be on force. If they stop alimentation to europe..what will happen? i m from romania i m making no worries.we have the chance of having 80% percent production of our consume.but what about germany with 80% dependence of russia?

German oil and gas imports from Russia is about 30-35%. How come you think Germany is dependant to Russian oil and gas by 80%? There's lots of alternatives.

I've never been so bearish on someone's cerebral activity. According to my calc the fair value of its argument is below zero. It's like undead-thinking. Read at your own risk.

Please refrain from assuming and not giving numbers. According to my calc it has to be exactly 6 feet under. Cheesy

300$ wasn't able to hold (cost around 1.2 mil $ every 24h to run the network)
200$ looks weak. It's not going to hold (800k $ in new money needed every 24h to hold this price)

Now let's turn the other way and say what infusion of new money per 24 hours is sustainable?

Given is:
-"Bitcoin" is old news, no new hype soon
-"Bitcoin" charts look bad, nobody in their right mind wants to buy this shit
-BUT we have VC and other millionaires held hostage with their money and reputation on the line! In case they are too stupid to short they are going to pump for survival   Grin

... which brings me to a 50k$ that could potentially be infused into "BTC" to keep it from dying completely. At that relatively sustainable cost of running the network 13.88$ is the price.

According to my calc, a fair Bitcoin price right now is 3.79 Triganic Pu. I have evidence. This proves your calc must be wrong.

Re: Time to say goodbye

Many of you are missing the underlying point of his statement. I sense his disgust with the community and what people have done to this new technology. Most of us in speculation offer no real advancement to the network, the tech or the economy.
I'm not excluded in this, but I do have projects in development to try to give back in a way other than being a part of price discovery.
He already said in the OP that he would tell people to buy and hold for two years. He also said nothing is wrong with the tech. It's the people around Bitcoin that are the problem. He did not say he was selling out and done with Bitcoin. I gather that he is done with this community and nothing more.

Good bye, wobber. Get well

I'd say, it's people in general, not only people around bitcoin. Even the most perfect things in the world can be fucked up by people and I'm pretty sure they will... But conclusion would be to "fold" life. I'm not going to fold!

But I will miss wobber's posts.

lol@thread title.

And you wonder why the general public views the average bitcoiner in such a negative light. Overly paranoid, dillusional, conspiracy theorizing libertarian neckbeards.   Some of you guys are just as bad as MLM marketers and phone telemarketers, if not worse.

Next one who has not read OP, but tries to offend. Read first, then think, then speak. That's the right order.

This can't be a good sign for rpietila:

Bitcoin under assault in Estonia
http://basedreport.com/2014/12/bitcoin-under-assault-in-estonia/

Same guys you keep seeing creeping around your castle?

Stay safe, rpietila and castle crew.

I hope Estonian decision-makers see this. I am very troubled by the seemingly unfounded, unsensical and summary treatment of Otto. If the intention is to give the impression that the rule-of-law does not hold in Estonia, it has been given. I am awaiting high-level contact to ensure that there remains a possibility to continue building the Malla Bitcoin Center. If not, I am humbled that this development was regarded as such a big threat that the 2-decade old tradition of liberty in the country needed to be violated because of it.

Don't take it too seriously, though (everyone) Smiley We play a moment and then we die. And bad guys go to hell. The choice is yours.

Well we are still +15%  compared to last week. I can handle a coin which "just" grow 15% a week. Wait we go below 370 to announce the resume of the downtrend

Remind you that we are currently

$10   lower than $410 at one month ago
$120 lower than $520 at three months ago
$250 lower than $650 at six months ago
$400 lower than $800 at ten months ago

This could be a bull trap, another new low sub-$300 can happen in any time

We're +3200% higher than 2 years ago.

Wanna compare arbitrary timeframes?

yeah +1 this.

we're $415 or %Infinity higher that 5 years ago, too. how is this important? the local bottom is in, whether your bearish heads like it or not.

Like it or not? People have been calling the bottom every day since $1200 - $280. Saying this time you're right is ridiculous.

Yep, MANY have been calling the bottom at 1200 Grin
The bottom might well be in, it's at least unlikely to drop much further than 270. Saying Bitcoin is in a permanent downtrend and will never recover, however, is more ridiculous
