Hey Guys,

Great to see some old users still around here, looks like Stratis has been busy during this Brutal Bear Market.

As many of you know, i had some Silver Coins made, Found i have 3 left, they are not cheap, but they are quality.

Please see Bitcoin talk topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1909935.60

"Topic: [WTS] STRATIS Fine Silver .999 Ltd Ed 100 Coins only Minted by Kremnica Slovakia"

Bring back a Smile to the holders here.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2020   Year that Stratis once again shines brightly.

So sad, they stole my 9 (or 11 can't remember) coins  Sad

Can't have anything what with my family of thieves and living in such a corrupt country as Morocco.

Hi Frobley, very sorry to hear that.  Sad

The only thing i can suggest in the future, should you want anything sent and are travelling to a country thats more safe for shipping, have it sent to your accommodation, one way of a work around.

Some postal systems are still really bad, one day i hope there is a way to track all parcels, so anyone who touches it gets on record and if it goes missing they can root out the thieving bastards.

Hope you have better luck in the future.

PS: thanks Demon Knight, sent you a PM and discord request, great to see you still around

Wasn't the fault of any postal service. I had these safely in my possession at one time, they were among a collection of gold and silver bullion, around €80,000 value stolen. Family turned out to be secret society members, thieves and liars - some of the most vile people you could imagine.
Destroy their own if non-members, totally unbelievable to any outsider. They should all be in prison  Sad But I've met with only corruption.

These people function largely by defaming! Disgusting animals. Satanic, Nazi scumbags
Using several modus operandi originating from Joseph Goebbels e.g., "Accuse the other side of that which you are guilty.", A classic.

Yesterday was 10% today 9% to activate Sad
What we can do to make it faster ?

Only way is to convince people to stake using Stratis Core. So a little way of helping might be to tell people you know to stake through Stratis Core.

there is no incentive for the largest stakers to do this, they will lose out.
I see little chance of this happening

I advise do not use spectrocoin.
My own card is 'unavailable' for months, and the funds being stolen by 'fees' each 3 days.
Responses to my enquiries are questionable. This appears now to be a criminal enterprise.

Originally the platform was Ethereum
They gave 100% bonus when buying a token, but it did not help.

I'm not sure that this is a good partnership, most likely, people demanded from stratis to find a partner of the esteemed, and they found a loser ICO company

p.s. This is only my opinion after a detailed study.  sorry guys

Did your detailed study include asking comment from Gluon?

It's good to have an easy channel for folks to get Stratis, but keep in mind that Changelly's fees are pretty high compared to a normal exchange. If you guys are dropping a large amount of money into STRAT, hop onto a larger exchange. However, if you don't want the IRS catching wind of your transactions, Changelly's fees suddenly don't seem so expensive. (Do pay your taxes though, it would be a shame to be rich yet unable to spend your money on anything for fear of being prosecuted for tax fraud.)

I'm not a christian, but I think it says "pay your taxes", in the English translation.
It's too much, these repeater nodes all around me.

Im not so convinced by this new identity management platform. They claim that first to market is irrelevant because the competition is buggy and not working properly but I see Civic making good progress, being more and more recognized and closing business partnerships left and right. It would be unfortunate to see Stratis becoming too spread out and wasting ressources best spent on a platform that will set them apart.

Any thoughts?

I'm also not as convinced anymore about the business model in general, and the schedule of development in particular.
Sure, the C# implementation looks great at first sight, but the fate of the project is too close tied to the fate of BTC, for my taste.
BTC dominance is tanking and Stratis just pisses away a lot of significance.

They should really put more focus on the development of the platform and side chains. This mixer tech is a nice feature, but not as important.
The masternodes should run contracts, not be just mixers. And they seem to be much too expensive. They are already between a rock and a hard place with the decision, because Tumblebit's anonymity will work better with fewer servers.

And they don't seem to be following segwit2x with Breeze, instead they are fanboys of the core whiners, which I found rather disappointing.
Its denial of reality which I didn't expect in such a well managed project with strong leadership.

Their Slack is probably the biggest circle jerk in crypto land. Bring up just a trace of scepticism and your messages are either deleted, or you're banned right away.

They just increased the size of the development team and the lead developer is exclusively focusing on the Stratis node/sidechains.

I appreciate your positive input limbaugh, but can't see why you responded to CyborgDouche, his mind is obviously far away in a land filled with shitcoins, and doesn't have any Stratis at the moment. He would not be able to see that quite possibly Stratis is the biggest thing out there or that one day, it could be more important than bitcoin itself! It's why I generally don't bother, but hey, I just checked in for a bit, thought I'd chirp up you know.

Hello

I bought at 0.0026 and 0.00232 and 0.0019 (yesterday) BTC.

I'm not stressed at all I know that Stratis has a good future even if I am new into the crypto world.

It seems that they are a good team and they alaways deleiver what they promise on time.

It's sure is a great long term project and I'm sure that 2017 will bring many good things for Stratis Smiley

I bought at 0.0038, 36, 35, 31, 29, 26, 25, 22.
But it was a bit rush Sad
Anyway i got my experience about market and people.
But i dont want to put my fiat into BTC before 1. Aug.
Cuz i see the blood, alts, btc, panic, glitches and stuff.
IMHO.

p.s. But who knows whats gonna be happened....

Don't worry mate, it's normal psychology to make it so hard to put money into this market right now, seeing all that red out there.
But this is exactly the kind of opportunity you should seize. Grab your balls and buy in right the **** now, or at least well before all these other schmucks realise bitcoin is going to move higher.

As many seem to think it has a link with the future of BTC on the 1ST August.

But it won't last forever and I'm sure that Strat will do well as BTC after August.

Also there is a big dump of Strat but also a pump seconds after... so it seems that many traders do short term trade Smiley buy/sell very quickly.

Are they implementing BTC SegWit or something similar on 1st of August? Has the date been decided?
I haven't seen that in the websites.

and this is exactly the kind of reason why strat remains a good buy

Moan, moan, couldn't take those btc out of waves? It must pump soon eh
There would likely be pools shortly after release you'd be able to join and be paid a share of revenue in proportion to your stake in the node. I would think so.. wait and see what comes up

If you want to attain stable 27 MH/s, do you know you can get it without flashing through Claymore miner's integrated functions? Use -cclock and -mclock, check FAQ of Claymore miner for more information.

Gee thanks, do you know where I can get Debenhams discount coupons?

When will masternodes be released (in 2017), and how much will deposit be?

More information on 19 april:

https://twitter.com/khil0ne/status/851546503181209604
Masternodes are like stars in the sky . Lets hope it will be 2 $ next month . I want to see stratis to be great .

I dont expect the masternode going to happen soon it might take 6 mos because there is a roadmap to be followed.

MasterNodes is a part of TumbleBit Breeze wallet, it will used in the breeze wallet. I am very optimistic on the new product, it will bring Stratis more exposure to bitcoin users.

Tumblebit nodes are required by the Breeze wallets to tumble bitcoin, who would be tumbling Stratis at this stage...

Is it possible to implement a Rouleth (if you are involved in Ethereum you know) game onto the Stratis platform? How do you go about creating contracts/dapps at the moment? I know that the Ethereum wallet has a whole contracts tab where you can write/compile & deploy right from the wallet. Will the Stratis GUI be similar in this regard?
Are there any snapshots yet of the GUI or anything like that? Are there tutorials available for creating dapps/contracts on the Stratis blockchain?
I am more eager to build opposed to making profits. I am not here simply to watch things go good and cheer along as the price goes up. I am here to see how viable this platform really is for performing tasks that Ethereum already does (pretty good).
What will Stratis have that Ethereum won't?
(Note: I have been involved in Ethereum since the Mike Hearn rage quit and have maintained a semi-hardon for Ethereum ever since. So please, sell me!) :0) I am eager for new experiences.

Stratis will have the possibility of smart contracts as well:

https://twitter.com/khil0ne/status/850020555029872640

It seems to me , Stratis is now a jack of all trade, this is turning to be a different product market during the ICO.

did you know it's multi-algo?, it's more than eth, more than bitcoin itself, watch, ms will jump all over this I'm sure by the end of the year

That is serious money for the most people if you need at least 20k stratis(7.2BTC Stratis at 36k price), perhaps to much people are already staking this beautiful coin. Bought some stratis because I like this project but don't going to stake it because it simply isn't enough.

The plan is to scrap POS 'mining' rewards entirely and distribute rewards based on the generated fees.

Trew knows what he is doing and his methods for controlling inflation displays his experience in the field. Good stuff.

Trew is a crypto veteran, and he masters the comprehensive knowledge in this field, I am quite happy I am an investor from ICO.  Grin

He's also a magician in cryptocurrency.  Turning pennies into dollars.  The Stratis Team are the hardest working group in the industry.

Not impossible because Strat is now half a dollar with still a long and promising road ahead. Let us see when the first C# decentralized application being hosted/introduced in stratis platform.

I had a dream Stratis is more expensive than bitcoin by about 20%.
Chris Trew is a genius, I know this will occur sooner than you can imagine.
