Underclocking 6990 memory on Linux

For anyone who has been looking for a solid, easy-to-use command line tool that properly underclocks a 6990's memory under Linux, please take a look at this thread:

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=25750.msg320458

This atitweak tool is great and is the only one I've found that will allow me to lower my memory clock from a command line on a 6990 without a hassle.  It's a very solid replacement for aticonfig and/or AMDOvDrvCtrl for things like over/underclocking, fan control, GPU status, etc.

My 6990s now run a lot cooler since I've been able to underclock the memory.

I can't take any credit at all for anything except stumbling across the right thread.  If the tool helps you, flip the guy some coins.

Please add a feature where I can give someone a high-five every time they find a block.  Seriously makes me do a little dance every time.

Yeah, thanks for the advice.  I know that they aren't a bank, but I don't think MyBitcoin or services like it claim to be banks, either.

My point?  A cloud wallet service is only as good as its uptime.  Even if I'm only storing a few fractions of a coin there, if it's down, those coins are effectively gone.

I'm sure he's working as hard as he can to get it back online, but it's still down as of right now.  It's been about 20 hours or so since I first noticed it.

Here's to hoping.

Pooped my pants a little.  I wonder how many Bitcoins they hold (held?) in their many, many wallets.

They have (had?) a few of mine.

Does anyone else use it?  If so, did you notice that it's down right now?  Huh

Hi been lurking enough to get a big, beautiful Bitcoin box bouncing about, but I can't derp what might be a really easy thing: how do I get the "I'm cranking out 232 Thash/sec with my balls on fire" thingy majigg?

Like what if I did this:

That doesn't display anything for me when I hit the "Preview" button.  Is the entire Internet on my computer broken?

Hi I'm jonny and I'm a hoopy frood.  Much lurking has allowed me to start mining with 3x 6990s on LinuxCoin.  It's the bees knees, baby!  Running okey doke for about a month.  Now if someone could tell me how to make a tiny air conditioner to fit my PC case I'd be super jazzed.  INB4 water cooling, mineral oil, faerie blood.   Those fusckers are just... HOT!  Cheesy
