Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat
by
fruitybatman

Not yet it seems but there's no denying the possibility of Bitcoin or some similar form of digital currency replacing Fiat. We are in the digital age and it appears that we are not far off from the times of paperless money, which would in turn usher in a replacement for the current Financial system.

It seems to have been heading in that direction for a long time. But they seem to print and mint it faster and faster so its hard to see it going away completely. Bitcoin is the  simple solution to the problem and only time will tell.

A hope. A dream. A possible realization of wealth. Mostly it started as a hobby and is now very serious for me! I look at it as a vessel to get where I want to be.

Re: Bitcoin Goes Down! Surprising or not

Not surprised at all. It moved up rather quickly and needed some pullback. Expect much more volatility in the future as BTC heads higher and higher. Should continue back northward after it consolidates in this $13-15K range. For 2018 Im under the impression that Bitcoin will just continue to go mainstream and be somewhere between $30-50K.

Re: Why BTC value is growing day by day ?
by

on 01/12/2017, 02:05:41 UTC
It continues to be accepted more and more as a form of payment but it continues to grow because more and more people are becoming interested in its potential. The #1 reason in my opinion that it will continue to ascend is that it has a limited supply. This train wont stop simply for that reason.

Re: What is your method to find potential in an altcoin?
by
fruitybatman

I have certain target prices where I start to really watch a particular coin. For example, I like ETH in the low 0.04's, LTC in the low 0.008's, ZEC under 0.03, and DASH around 0.05. Those are what I eyeball the most but I also watch DOGE, DGB, DCR, SYS, and a few others. I really like to load up on DOGE below 20. My best method for trading is to see what coins hold their value when Bitcoin starts moving up a lot. For instance DOGE stayed in the 15-18 range when Bitcoin went from $4k-$8k so that was a strong buy signal for me. Good Luck and I hope you do very well!

It seems to be heading that way, which is why we do what we do. Been waiting for that to happen since I got involved in Bitcoin in 2013. We will be there soon folks!

Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins?
by

on 01/12/2017, 01:24:40 UTC
I don't think very many alts have a chance of success, but it depends on what you define as success. If you buy them to one day increase your Bitcoins then this is maybe a failure. If you use them to invest or for POS then maybe there can be some gains. In the long term I dont think they will increase in Bitcoin Value so its best to buy them with $USD. In that way I believe you will have a lot of success.

They dont have much respect towards anyone or anything. But I think its due to a lack of discipline as parents are not allowed to discipline their kids like they use to be able to do.

Re: Why are people scared of taxes?
by
fruitybatman
on 02/11/2017, 23:31:00 UTC
I dont think people are scared so much as they just dislike them. A small percentage of taxes get spent on something helpful or relevant so it leads people to not like them. And when the tax rate is high its also a negative. We do need them, just not on Bitcoin.

Eventually, I believe it will be taxed everywhere. It will have so much use that governments will do their best to tax it.

Laziness would be the number one reason in my opinion. Many people dont want to work and would rather live off government benefits.
