Re: Altcoiners now is your chance
by

We can't talk like they're all together about all the alts. They simply aren't, the alts are different, many things, different systems, different chains, different cases of use, many things can be different among the alts we have around us. I believe in some alts, some I don't, but what I've discovered in the past few years is that virtually every successful alt has a chance to succeed in the future, and let's not forget that some of them are still going to recover in the future.

Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well?

This year is the year to purify all altcoins because lots of coins are becoming shitcoin in this sector so you don't have to spend time learning because it will only make you more frustrated. At the moment, Bitcoin is the cheapest option and if you have a good investment opportunity, invest now as 2020 is about to start. Personally, I have great confidence in this market next year because this is the year all investors are waiting to join this risky market and will certainly attract a lot of new investors.

Re: What's going on?

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have been very volatile since the beginning and the movement of coin values is always driven by demand and supply. So FUD so whale exploitation will affect this demand and supply. In fact, I think the current dump was orchestrated by the pope and also by some coin holders who panicked because they saw the crypto market continuing in red. So I think the pope's manipulating the market to be able to buy Bitcoin cheaply before Bitcoin's halving in 2020.

Re: Quality or Price? - which one you look when buying altcoins?
by
funbarrel
on 19/01/2020, 21:14:00 UTC
It depends on whether I'm trading or holding an altcoin for the long term. If I'm looking for an altcoin to trade then I'm going to look at the price, if the price is good for trade, if I have enough volatility to make it profitable for me. If I'm looking for an altcoin to invest on a long-term basis then I'd look at the quality because the price doesn't matter to me if an altcoin's quality is solid and if it has a lot of potential.

Re: Can Altcoins do it alone ?
by
funbarrel
on 19/01/2020, 20:54:37 UTC
For now and for the years to come, I don't think we can expect anything major for altcoins, because the developments that exist in the crypto industry are at least still linked to bitcoin itself as the crypto parent. It needs to be done for altcoins to be able to do it on their own, I don't think it's an easy thing because there may be so many things that need to be possessed to be able to do it or walk alone without being affected by bitcoin

Re: 2020 will be a material year for crypto. What do you think?
by

There are various topics related to how Bitcoin transactions can be used effectively to reduce their power consumption needed to process each block transaction. In this regard, many have said that we need to improve our electricity source, but in fact, improving the technicalities of bitcoin in its internal coding frameworks is quite easier and more efficient. We could also add further updates to help open up opportunities for Bitcoin to be widely accepted worldwide. So i believe a lot of development this year will be focused on the mining changes.

Re: Useless projects!
by

I read statistics that, unlike previous years, 2019 has only 8 percent of active ICOs. Anyway, if that's true, then nowadays ICO becomes a failure to bring enormous value and adds value to the entire crypto marketcap. If I were to select which one would remain just top 10 CMC projects then delist all and we might be able to see a brand new cryptocurrency age. New projects are just previous one's copycats. How does it work?

Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin?
by

on 17/01/2020, 22:26:19 UTC
A good sign is that bitcoin has risen to $7,300, followed by a slow rise in altcoins prices. In 2020, I'm becoming more hopeful, cryptocurrency prices will actually rise steadily until the half event is over. I have therefore tracked some high-potential altcoins, and in my view there are some altcoins that are very interesting and worth keeping. I picked the most popular altcoins in 2020, ETH, LTC, and BNB. Such three altcoins are very useful as they can produce enormous profits

Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies?
by
funbarrel
on 16/01/2020, 22:06:34 UTC
When people don't understand crypto, maybe it's not for them honestly? I think you shouldn't really use things you don't understand and some people find it intimidating for some reason. We create the problem in their own heads as crypto is very easy to understand. I hear about the government what you're doing, but they can regulate so much. They're never going to know what we're doing and to whom. Bitcoin is accepted all over the world and this is a "global currency." I use crypto more than fiat and it has already achieved its target as far as I am concerned and proved its worth

Re: Bitcoin Market Is Manipulated
by
funbarrel
on 15/01/2020, 21:02:44 UTC
I'm sure you posted this due to the recent pump which went nearly 2 hundred up yesterday, which is a clear sign of manipulating just looking how long that line is, suggesting that a whale must have entered the market and flooded the purchase orders. Then it's only going sideways for at least 10 hours now with no signs of increasing demand, maybe taking a recent dump because it was considered a degree of resistance, then another potential whale pump. This market is definitely manipulated

It won't stop, despite the fact that almost every forecast of the future price of Bitcoin went drastically wrong. We also give people attention by discussing predictions there. Let's hope 2020 will bring happiness to all crypto traders but don't pursue these predictions. Crypto market has its own up and down mood and no one can predict it. All we know is that the overall trend is bullish.

Re: When next bull run happen??
by
funbarrel
on 14/01/2020, 12:29:41 UTC
I am optimistic that before halving begins, there will be a bull run. But there is no guarantee. There is always a tendency to release those whales who wanted to dump big because they know people are hoping for a bull run. Whatever happens, Bitcoin will remain a good investment as the supply becomes harder and its demand grows. Sooner or later it will become world currency.

Most of the altcoins that have good investors as well as a greater amount of trade on top exchanges would yield a guaranteed 3 times return at the time of pure bullish trend. The business is not bullish and not bearish right now. It's time to gain stability, which ensures that the market fluctuates within different margins and holds the marketcap stable without major changes. When the trend turns to bullish then we will definitely see easy money again.

Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst!
by

I heard about that story and the news because my uncle had previously worked in the same casino. It's sad to hear people being unable to control themselves and even commit crimes just to try gambling. As for me, gambling is only for fun, and if we don't regulate our impulses, it could ruin our lives. Greed could result in losses, so when it comes to gambling, we have to know our limits.

Re: What matters most to online casinos?
by
funbarrel
on 06/01/2020, 22:00:39 UTC
If I were to put this in any context, I would say that the quality of players visiting the casino is the most important thing for online casinos. Ideally, you want a large number of visitors, but eventually, if most of them can only afford to play once in a while and bet on the game, then the consistency of the player is paramount. Since these would be people willing to throw for a quick game or whatever in a few thousand or somewhere else-it makes it all more worthwhile for the casino

Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency?
by
funbarrel
on 03/01/2020, 23:52:13 UTC
I think that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency because it is more secure and more reliable, which is why Bitcoin is becoming more popular every day as more people invest and buy in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. However, Fiat currency takes a long time before it starts to raise its price or that never happens due to the fact that is inflationary while bitcoin is better because it is deflationary.

Re: Bitcoin is difficult to accept in countries
by
funbarrel
on 01/01/2020, 20:27:25 UTC
The main reason every government opposes Bitcoin is its decentralised existence. As Bitcoin is not under anybody's control its hard to trace any transaction performed in Bitcoin and I think this is the reason most governments are afraid to accept Bitcoin into their financial system. Although legalising Bitcoin payments may attract a good income to any government but the risk of crimes such as money laundering will increase.

Re: KYC for the DFINITY airdrop
by

on 26/06/2018, 00:31:31 UTC
Comrades, I need your opinion. I signed up for an airdrop from the DFINITY project, which promises to send coins for an amount equivalent to 100 CHF. At the same time, they ask to participants to pay $ 9 for the passage of KYC. It seems to me that this is a fraud, but what do you think?
Can the project require money for the passage of KYC and should I do it?
Why would they need your money to verify your identity? It's bs and even if they are legit you shouldn't want to deal with someone who does the kyc that way. Wouldn't be surprised if they decide to sell your identity in the future Wink

I mean I had my fair share of bumps in the head when it comes to holding cryptos...  But really, right when you think it's gonna be ok, a dump happens.  It's like the trading gods are saying:  'Nah-aaaahh'.  Cheesy

i think someone is definitely controlling the price otherwise it will not swing like this. even someone wants to dump a big amount ..... why don't they auction it?
Well yeah, people are controlling it. People and no one else that is why it is so beautiful. If people are not interested as much at the moment, the price goes down and it is fair enough, let the weak hands get rid of it.
