I have looked all of these miners up the usb miners seem nice but they seem less reliable.  Any good usb miners out there for around $100-$200 dollars.  Or something similar to the butterfly products in the same price range.  I dont know too much about mining  but i want to start.  Something easy would be nice such as a plug and play device.  (maybhe thts a little to easy)

I need to go cheap for now - i used a gh calculator and it said i would make 3 bucks a day - the butterfly labs 5gh is 200$ i dont have alot of options so id rather go small then use the return to buy more miners

Is there anyway you can be notified of when your noob status is revoked as i dont know when the posts are going through as i cant tell if my noob status is off or on

It took me 2 and a half days for me to download and verify the block chain.  I would use and spv client such as Multibit but the features that armoury has are much more secure especially with the paper backup etc.  It would be nice if the download speed was faster then i could have all but one of my computers synced up - one for small transactions and the offline one of cold storage

The most secure client would be armoury i just set it up - it took 2 to 3 days for it to sync up.  You can also use it to start a cold storage system.  It also helps to use another os (linux) as they are alot harder to hack.  Theres even a page on how linux is more secure on ubuntus website.  It sounds like a man in the middle attack - hope this thread helps show people that online wallets are unsafe for large amounts of money.

Im posting this hear because it seems i dont have access to the other areas - Im using bitcoin Armoury currecntly and want to send .02 bitcoins to the wallet on that computer - do i have to pay a transaction fee on that.  And also if i lose my computer and installation of Armoury (pretend its a hard drive crash) using my paper backup of my wallet - all my bitcoin coins and address will still be safe provided i restore them with the backup file.  Am i correct?
