Anybody seeing any issues with withdrawals right now? I've withdrawn some BTC but not showing up in blockchain or my receiving account.

Always shows up for me. I was very skeptical of this service at first but so far I have not had any issues with deposits, withdrawals, nor trades. I did a withdrawal today of about 0.5 btc and had it confirmed and in my wallet in about 20 minutes.

Thanks for the reply..unfortunately I still haven't received my withdrawal and my support ticket has not been answered.

I used this pool during the beta phase and it worked very well. Looking forward to the public release...all the best with it. I'll certainly be jumping back on!

Yes, I'm seeing the same. Just bought some KHs and the BTC has been taken out of my account but the new KHs is not showing up in my total.

The trading system is frozen.   You can go to the "Open Orders" and cancel your order then you will get your BTC back.

Thanks for that!

Hi,

I am very interested in this new movement. Been involved in mining and encouraging people to use Bitcoin for the last year and am now very interested in the whole Bitcoin 2.0 space.

Please consider me for the initial shareholders.

Thank you.

can't withdraw my btc too. i have funds & everything, previously was working nicely for me no prob's at all.

but just now i tried to withdraw, it says "you don't have enough balance"

well i think it could be the ddos on btc or whatsoever. it'll be nice if someone from bter could tell us what's going on.

tried to launch bter trader but does not work. win 7 64 bit.

tried withdrawing doge, works well.

tried again on btc it seem to accept my withdrawal, use only 0.xxxx 4 decimals & it worked.

Thanks for the response. How long were you trying to get your funds out before it worked...maybe an issue with them downloading the blockchain or the DDOS attack?

processing on btc grrr but at least it's half working.  About 2 hrs now still same.

doge withdrawal took only 5 minutes

Yeah same here...tried depositing BTC about 3 hours ago and still no show...

My BTC just came through..phew!

Breaking news: STOP TRADING AT BTER! THEY ARE ON A FORK. I WAS JUST INFORMED VIA EMAIL!

still ?

Oh man...wish I'd seen this earlier...just sent some BTC to BTER in order to buy some NXT...it is confirmed on the Blockchain but not showing up in BTER.

Anybody else having the same problem?

go to your funds page on bter

http://bter.com/myaccount/myfunds

and click the "sync" to the right of the BTC column.

Yup, tried that alright but just redirected me to my BTC address page...thanks anyway!

Well, I'll just try again.
Tell as what happens, but I think that it will be canceled again

Wish I'd seen this conversation BEFORE I sent BTC to BTER. Transaction has been confirmed on the block chain but not showing up in BTER...has anybody heard anything from BTER on these problems?

Sorry if this is extremely noobie, but I recently bought some NXT to test with and have had my client open for about two days to see how the forging process works..it is now showing "You can generate the next block in 6092 days....." !!

Is this because I only have a few hundred NXT? Will I see ANY new NXT in my account before then?

In Bitcoin/PoW mining, the likelyhood of mining a block is proportional to how many hashes/sec. your miner can do.  The more powerful your miner, the more likely you'll generate a block.  The difficulty in generating a Bitcoin block is very high, and a miner going alone has a very small chance of generating a block.

Instead, most Bitcoin miners choose to join a mining pool.  They all pool their hashing power so it is more likely for someone in that group to generate a block vs. someone going alone.  In return, everyone in the pool gets some income from finding a block together.

Think of each NXT as a PoW miner simulator with each NXT having the same PoW power.

There are NXT forging/mining pools forming now.

At the moment you have to send actual NXT to a forging pool in order to participate, and that's currently a bit like having to send your Bitcoin rig to someone else in order to mine blocks.

Soon it will be possible to safely lease your forging power to a pool without having to send any NXT.

It is up to you if you wish to join a forging pool now, or to wait a bit until you can lease your forging power.

Thanks very much for the reply! So I guess what you're saying is that if you have a small balance the chance of making any NXT from solo forging is pretty slim right?  Wink
