Thinking about this a little more, auctions are quite an interesting system and I am really looking forward to something that offers proof of bidding.

The market dynamics will keep people hooked on both bidding and selling imo. It seems dev wishes to provide some gamification to the proposed platform and give value to all users. This is an encouraging proposal which I feel would benefit from some economic trials.

I would urge the dev to push forward a road map and even consider running special events that tweak certain dynamics of the bidding process to trial community interaction.

Good luck, and I look forward to hearing more!

Interesting idea, but we need more details

Agreed, this seems like an interesting dynamic if theres a level of transparency to be implemented. Perhaps a little more detail in the form of a document will be useful?

I kind of like the idea of a mobile focused coin actually, the best would be if it integrated into some sort of social platform.

Got some decent previews i see. Will follow.

What previews are you talking about?

win10 was free for a year if you had 8.

I think it was free for at least 6 months. I did try Win10, hated it, its 100% full on Spy wear from microsoft. Not to mention how more un-user friendly it all is.  So i reverted back to win 8.1, which i have to say i am very happy with.

Also for people posting "it works great on my OS"  I CLEARLY stated, i wanted to hear from Windows 8.1 Users/stakers only.  As it seems like this is the OS that could be the issue.

But, no worries, i will wait for new HTML 5 wallet, hopefully Santa will bring me one.

I think web based wallets are good. Windows 10 broke alot of stuff in the last update

Is there a calculator for this coin? I have an 8tb hard drive and have a few tb left.

http://sia-calc.cryptohub.info/ is a sia mining calculator. I don't think there is no harddrive memory based calculator in existence. Try googling.

Thanks. But I thought this was like a mine by content in your hard drive kind of coin. Is it both, proof of work and hard drive space? Because I imagined that the intensive would be to hold content. I'll Google it. Thanks.

I'm not sure how healthy hdd mining is?

More wallets supporting a coin is obviously a good thing,
but are more companies taking Litecoin as a payment method?

Mining and trading a coin is fine, but increasing user base and the amount of services that accept a coin is the only way to increase its price and keep it growing.

Yes the problem is mostly liquidity. Hopefully as more end uses are made it will be able to survive.

not much point though guys.. your skipping over that part LOL

what ever one is far more profitable to mine with will be used and the rest ignored.. so..

true, the idea is probably more academic than anything else

How many multiple algorithm coins are out there now?

It would most likely never be possible, but imagine a multi algo coin that used...

SHA 256- Support network via ASIC
Scrypt - Support network via ASIC
X11 - Support network via FPGA and GPU
BLAKE 256 - Support network via FPGA and GPU
Cryptonote - Support network via CPU / GPU
Momentum - Support network via CPU / GPU

It would be perfectly balanced from a mining perspective. You may say im a dreamer, but im not the only one

uhm....i don't think is possibile. Can a coin switch from an algo to an other and than return back without problems?

Sure, but not without difficulty and a really good reason.  The coin can hard fork at some height in the future giving everyone time to update their wallets, and the new wallet and miners will have to use the old algorithm until the fork point at which time the miners would have to switch algorithms.  If the old algorithm is regular and the new one is custom then external mining software and pools will break.  Anyone mining using solely the wallet would be fine.  Not a perfect scenario by any means but within the realm of possibilities.

Im looking for the same pow but with sha 256 scrypt and x11 to give an example. but then how would that effect the coin block explorer or would i have to have sha256 explorer i basically have questions like that because the goal here is to used just one coin I wanted to make coins for different algo's but thought it would be a challenge to do it this way.

A change in algorithm would be a hard fork as far as the coin source and block chain are concerned but I think that kind of change would be transparent to a block explorer

It depends what you mean by multiple algorithms.  You intend to change the proof of work algorithm by adding another algorithm on top of scypt?
