Your idea of "peak hashrate" alone is definitely something new POW coins should take a look into...this could completely eliminate the colluding problem, but I guess one could just split his mining rig to beat this.

I have a couple of questions: I regularly see rejected shares with the message STALE Previous Job or something similar it looks like a bug what is that? Second thing is disconnect issues on eu proxy whats happening there?
edit: I just noticed a lot "connection interrupted" messages but no coin change. Usually happens just before the pool diff changes but not always.

sincerely, for some days I went to mine dogecoin on a big pool... when h2o will decide to stabilize the whole situation, I'll surely come back.
I already disconnected all my machines from this too pool... Anyway, in the following days, I'll take a definitive decision
statistics are not good and do not help you to better understand what is happening... too differences between us servers and eu servers for payouts, for statistics and for immature coins..
+1 Other pools might not be more profitable but at least you can see what's happening. I'll come back when the eu issues are fixed.

+1 Thanks a bunch seems to work alot better and my WU is up from 470 to 530 Hashrate is at 570, 545 with the old version at stock clocks

I (mining at Amsterdam) noticed the same issue and yesterday H2O confirmed (on IRC) that currently not all servers give the same profits, but he is working on a fix. Excerpts from a chatlog (with other news as well):

Simply start the pc without a monitor connected? I'm doing it on Win8, once configured and set up so everything starts automatically at boot time, it just keeps doing its thing
Haha that's not really headless. I thought headless meant without a GUI. I highly doubt you can get Win7 without a GUI except for Windows Server maybe.

To the people whining about how much money they put into it.
It's a gamble you should expect to lose. Everything else is a great bonus. If you put your life savings into this then well good luck with that. You can't expect an average payout just for that reason. Tomorrow it might be 20% of today so what.
