Hi, Is there something wrong with the late teamviewer versions alongside the most recent windows 10 version? Claymore becomes stuck at "start building OpenCL program for GPU 0..."  if I am logged on with teamviewer. If I am not logged on it starts mining as normal. Once I logon GPU 0 Hangs in open cl and miner continue with the rest of the cards. Thats ofcourse because I have  -wd 0 and -r -1. Otherwise everything works very well until you connect with teamviewer. Is there any setting to be changed?

bump, this is really bugging me on 2 different miners with latest version of windows (1709 fall 2017 update) I am still uncertain if its windows, teamviewer or claymore miner at fault.

I have been seeing similar issues with GPU 0 after I upgraded to the latest Win release. I did a lot of troubleshooting but did not think to disable TeamViewer (I will try it when I get a chance to see if it makes any difference). A workaround that worked for me was to plug in a monitor into the DVI port on the GPU 0. The monitor did not even need to be powered on for it to work (plugged in power but in standby mode). Not 100% sure if it is going to work for you but might be worth giving it a try.

Return question - WHY?
Why upgrade or update windows? especialy on mining rig? It works good - leave it as it is!
Updates wont give you hasgrate increase. Honestly speaking you wont see any difference at all. You have about 70% of seeng new problems instead of any improvements..

Trying Clay 10.2 will see how it goes. 10.1 was highly unstable and unusable..

Yeah agreed, however you also don't want to leave any OS vulnerabilities open on your always connected machine.

I am using 10.2, same issue older versions so I do not believe that it has anything to do with a particular release.

At this point, I am suspecting an issue with TeamViewer since somebody else on the forum has reported a similar issue.

I got everything working by plugging in a switched off monitor so its all good at the moment, however I will try disabling TeamViewer next time I am on site (the miner is in a remote location) to see if that makes any difference.

Hey guys,

Just a quick question to see if any of you came across such issue:

After the latest Windows 10 Pro upgrade I started having this wierd issue with one of my cards (MSI RX580 8GB) in PCIE_16x slot 0 (ASUS Z270-P). The miner would get stuck at POOL/SOLO output and mining would never start. I tried a few things and noticed that when I disabled GPU 0 (using the -di argument) the remaining cards would start mining without any issues. I suspected some issue with the card, raiser or the motherboard. I did some troubleshooting and noticed that any card inserted in that PCIE slot was having the issues so that ruled out the raisers or cards. Provided that the only change made was the windows upgrade, I tried to download and install latest chipset and ME drivers, latest BIOS and did a fresh install of the blockchain drivers (using DDU). None of that helped so I thought the slot is faulty or something but then I noticed something very strange...when I plug in a monitor into the impacted card, everything started working (or at least for the past 48 hours). The monitor does not even need to be turned on as long as the DVI cable is plugged in on both ends.

Has anybody experienced such issue or am I going crazy here 😂
