Im getting this error pretty often "error socket was closed while receiving data" then i reconnects to pool. is this normal?

i mine on lucky pool. Im getting that error on all of my 7 rigs. let's say every few minutes.

I have a problem with xmr stak miner.
After windows update to latest version 1709, xmr stak wont hash with 3 of 5 gpus. Gpu 0 and 1 hashes normal gpu 3 hash 70hs per thread gpu 4 and 5 shows 0 hash.
When i recovered last version of windows 1604 it hashes and works normally. Problem is stupid windows update cant be stoped and it auto updates and i cant use xmr stak.

I tried claymore 11.3 and it is working fine on both version of windows.

GPUs are rx570 4gb. Drivers amd blockchain.

Can someone help me with my issue? i tried this on 7 of my rigs. same issue. latest version of windows = xmr stak wont work right.

*same thing with happens with older version. I tried today latest 2.4.4 and still same thing.

Regarding Nicehash hack and losing some BTC i have some money on exchanges, real money not USDT nor coins. Real EUR and US.
If exchange gets hacked is it possible for hacker to steal real money easy as they could steal coins?

I understand that but how can u explain that i mined almost 50% less etn then i should with NH? I used NH on other pools and everything went well, here i didnt get almost 20k etn.

No payment 1 hour and i got like 20k etn less then calculated. Nicehash user. 14 MHs 1hour should get like 42k etn i got only 26 and half of that still pending for 1 hour. Something is wrong...

If i were you i would only invest the money i (u) have that's 30-40k EUR. u can buy 100 rx580 8gb with no problem. that's around 17rigs. It will take you some time to make them work but that's a challenge. Mine ether and save it till it increase.

I had the same dilema, invest in coin or buy GPUs. I decided to buy gpus cos after i pay for them i can still mine if not eth then other coin. If i just invest i can only wait for coin to go up, sell and then what? wait for coin to go down buy again wait to go up... do some day trading.... to me its more like a gamble then steady income... with my few rigs (20gpus) i can get ROI this year if eth goes a bit higher. i target to sell at 500$.

Set clocks before u turn on miner. If same thing happens try to connect monitor to every card for 5-10 secs.
If that aint helping try to use diff AB version.

I had the same problem on my rig, only GPU0 was affected when clocked.
I solved my problem by using AB 15. When using AB 16 only GPU0 gets affected.

Hope this will solve ur problem also.

And i use blockchain beta drivers aug11, win10, rx570 all cards.

I have some problem and i cant figure it out.
I have 4 rigs. 2 rigs running win10 rx570 4gb and 2 running win7 rx570 4gb.

On 2 rigs with win10 i installed new beta drivers and everything works fine.
On 3rd rig i installed win10, new beta drivers from amd site and i get mclock and cclock drop to 300mhz every lets say 30-40 secs. It only drops for 1-2 secs then gets back to normal. It is happening on all 4 cards at same time. Same thing happens with aug11 and aug23 drivers.

On first 2 rigs i dont get that problem, also rig worked fine on win7 older amd drivers.

The only thing different is that i have 4gb of ram on 3rd rig and rest are 8gb. Could that be the problem?
Ive tried to lower mclock and cclock same thing.

Suggests?

What version of AB do you use?

Hello you can try this,

Open CMD as administrator and enter this first "bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHEKCS" press enter, then this "bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON" press enter. Restart your computer.

If u got 4mhs per card try to connect monitor cable in each gpu, let it 5 secs then switch on next till u do all 6 of them that worked for me when i got 4mhs.

As i noticed 512kb size of ROM file is when u save ur bios with atiflash , and 256 is with gpu z. ALWAYS USE AtiFlash if you dont want to brick ur card.

rx570 4gb hynix&elpida i copied straps from  1500 to 2000. running 27.3 on almost every cards. Some cards gives me alot of errors so i reduce mclock and i get around 26.5 stable.

It depends on the drivers, u need to find the best one for you, i used 17.7.2 on 1 rig with 6x rx570 4gb on other rig with 5x rx 570 17.7.2 caused many problems so i used mix of 17.5.1 and 16.11.5, on 3rd rig 4x rx570 17.7.1 and so on Right now i am on blockchain beta drivers with AB beta 15 and im fine with them.

I solved it with adding 4gb ram = 8 total and mix of AMD 17.5.1 16.11.5

i would def go and buy GPUs rx570 8gb. You can get around 60 of them. With 20k u can set 10 rigs with 6gpu each. With current eth price u will ROI in 6-7 months,after that 116$ profit per day. Eth will be mineable for atleast 1 year and more (casper LATE 2018) and prolly more cos they break every deadline. Even better if u can hold on ether and not sell it as soon u mine it, the eth price will go up and u will ROI even faster.
Thats my honest opinion and i started moth ago with 10k$ budget. Holding on my mined eth and i think ill ROI till new year easily.

Save your bios with atiflash. Never gpu z. when you save it with atiflash upload ur bios .rom file and i can flash it for you.
