Im having a real big problem with My motherboard and ati cards.

First thing i would like to say is if you help me solve the problem that i am having a will give you 1 copy for dirt 3 that i recieved when buying a 6970, if multiple people help, i will give out multiple copys, I have 4x extra i do not need.

NOTE: This is for a gaming computer, not bitocoin mining, or any other shenanigans.


Motherboard: I have a p7p55d-e ASUS mother board. Here is the link to the EXACT one I have:

Problem:
As you can see the motherboard has 2x 16x PCIe slots, One blue, One dark grey.
ANY ATI card that I put into these slots runs at 4x speed. (seen VIA GPU z latest version)
ANY NVIDIA card i put into these slots runs at 16x speed.

Needed Solution:
I need to get ONE ATI card to run at 16x Bus interface.

ATI cards I have:
3x 5770's (xfx)
1x 6970 (currently being RMA's (replaced) by Newegg) (xfx)

Nvidia cards I have:
1x 460 (evga)
1x 465 (evga)


What I have done:
Latest Bios has been installed (Battery taken out full reset has happened)
Cleaned Both pcie slots and pins on both ATI cards

Other information:
I have a i7 860 (no overclock since bios update)
8gb of DDR3 ram (checked for errors no problems with any sticks)
850w Power supply (new)


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bitcoins is a hobby, i bought 1 6970 that i use to mine and play games. I am very satisfied at the .5 bitcoins i make per day. i can buy a video game once a week if i feel like it, thats good enough for me.

I have 2 big problems that i need fixed.

I got a new 6970 today and started to mine with it, getting around 360 mhash with it at stock settings. Whenever i try to overclock my mhash actually decreases. Is there any way to fix this so i can get more mhash?

My next bit of help is the hardest will top 1btc if u can solve.

I have a p7p55d-e motherboard, and NO ati card can be detected on the top slot. It works with my Nvidia cards but not my ati card. There must be a way to fix this so that i can get 2 cards running on this motherboard but i just cannot figure it out.

I have updated bios
updated all drivers
second monitor hooked up to the first card slot (blue slot)

none is working. Its not showing up in device manager and the computer wont even boot if thats the only slot with a GPU. The slot is fine it works fine with my nvidia 465.


any help would be great.

So i took some btc out of deepbit earlyer on today. Didnt open up bitcoin on my computer. hours later I opened up bitcoin.exe starting downloading blocks. Took out .01 btc from deepbit and that was confirmed right away. but wheres my other transaction? Is it gone?
